The fan-favorite elf mage is set to return, asFrieren: Beyond Journey’s EndSeason 2 receives the green light for production. The announcement was made at the show’s anniversary event, where the official staff shared an announcement visual and PV to confirm the news.

Frieren’s popularity among the community is no joke, as Season 1 not only took over the internet but surpassedFullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhoodin ranking. Following Season 1’s immense success, Madhouse will be returning to animate the sequel. However, for now, when we’ll reunite with Frieren, Fern, and Stark remains uncertain, with fans eagerly awaiting the production studio to drop the release date.
The anime’s first season started in September 2023 and aired until March 2024, concluding with “The Journey to Ende Continues” message.
