A few days back, Tite Kubo, the creator of the legendaryBleachmanga, announced a new chapter for the series' 20th anniversary. Well, recently, the mangaka released the first illustration for the upcoming chapter, and here’s everything you need to know about it.
Bleachis an incredible Japanese manga series with millions of fans from all parts of the world. It follows the journey of Ichigo Kurosaki, who is bestowed upon by the powers of a Grim Reaper. The manga came to an end in August 2016 with the release of its 74th volume. However, it inspired several anime adaptations, stand-alone movies, video games, and even stage musicals.
The anime adaptation ran from October 2004 to March 2012 and featured a total of 366 episodes. However, the anime community is still waiting for the creators to animate the manga’s final arc,“Thousand-Year Blood War.”
Tite Kubo’s Illustration for Bleach’s 20th-anniversary Special Chapter
The entire manga community was surprised to learn that Tite Kubo will release a special chapter to celebrate manga’s 20th anniversary. What’s even more exciting is that this new chapter will host 73 pages. We are still in the dark regarding its plot, but the synopsis of the chapter says,“Ichigo is invited back to Soul Society for a certain ceremony.”
Recently, Tite Kubo’s officialTwitterhandle announced that the new chapter will come out in Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #36/37. Besides that, the mangaka released the first illustration for the upcoming chapter. The incredible art shows Ichigo Kurosaki in all his glory, and it is more than enough to get the community excited for the upcoming chapter.
