What Content Is Missing In Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles?

The most notable content missing from Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles is player-related, with both the Onion Knight and Dark Knight jobs absent. These were powerful options that took a while to unlock, and their absence will be missed.

The War of the Lions also featured new party members from different games, as Luso from Final Fantasy Tactics Advance A2: Grimoire of the Rift, as well as Balthier fromFinal Fantasy 12, were playable in the PSP remake. These are also gone.

Magic the Gathering Final Fantasy Chaos Boss

The War of the Lions also added new boss fights, most notably a rematchagainst an undead version of one of the most despised characters in the franchise. The multiplayer content is also gone, as The War of the Lions had co-op and PvP matches with exclusive gear.

The absence of The War of the Lions content is a massive shame, considering how much it added to the experience. Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles might make it possible to play the game on modern platforms, but it’seasily the inferior versioncompared to the PSP iteration of Final Fantasy Tactics.
