Thankfully, according to Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth game director Naoki Hamaguchi, the developers are aware of this and are looking to remedy it in the third chapter of the remake.

In a new interview with Hamaguchi bySquare Enix, the developer was asked what feedback they have taken from FF7 Rebirth that they are applying to future projects, and while Hamaguchi mentions the reactions they got was exactly what they were hoping for, the exception to that was the trophies.
“I think we’re going to look at the difficulty for unlocking the trophies in the third game and set it at a level that’s more achievable for most people,” Hamaguchi notes.

These include tedious tasks such as exploring all the open world areas, assessing enemies to unlock challenges, completing many mini games and more. Trophy tracking sites estimate that it will take players 200 hours to obtain all the trophies, which is needed to earn the game’s platinum.
