The latest title update forFIFA 23officially launched last week across all platforms, fixing dozens of issues and applying a number of balance changes, however, it seems likeEA Sportshas accidentally activated the FIFA World Cup 2022 menu for PS5 players through the console’s Activities tab.As discovered by YouTube content creatorFUT Mentor, PS5 users can access the World Cup menu by pressing the PlayStation button on their controller in FIFA 23 and then navigating to the Multiplayer Activities. Now, you should be able to spot an option called World Cup activities. If you select it, the game will jump to the FIFA World Cup 2022 menu, where you can see the UI design for the upcoming DLC as well as some of the available activities that you can do in the event. That being said, none of the activities are playable for now, as the expansion has not been fully released yet.

It’s yet to be seen when EA Sports will fix this bug, but it is particularly a bug tied to PlayStation 5’s Activities menu, and the developer can probably remove the World Cup activities from the list even without rolling out a new update.
FIFA World Cup 2022 will officially kick off later in November in Qatar, but EA Sports has not revealed anything regarding its upcoming expansion for the world’s biggest football tournament so far. Aside from a brand new World Cup mode in the game, it is expected that EA Sports introduces some new World Cup-oriented player cards for Ultimate Team, featuring a live upgrade system that adjusts the player stats based on their performance in the real world tournament. Also, it is expected that Seasons receive a new World Cup branch in the Cups section.
Recently,Electronic Artsofficially announced that FIFA 23 experienced the biggest launch in the series' history with over 10.3 million players joining the game in the first week of release. It is expected that the number of players reach new milestones as the World Cup even kicks off in the game. FIFA 23 is the last title in the series before its rebranding to EA Sports FC.
