Once this is done, you will be able to interact with a chest at the docks. Inside this chest will bethe Corsair’s Compass crafting recipe. Head on over to the location shown above, and you will arrive at your first Pirate King’s Grotto — this will be along thewest coastline of the Gongaga Region. You will find a dock with a glowing red circle next to it. Once docked, you willface off against Ogre Raider. They will beweak to ice, so be sure to use that against them to bothPressure and Staggerthem.
Once they are dealt with, you willfind a series of yellow grips you can use to climb upthe cliffside to get to the chest with the same purple glow and crossed swords symbol. This will containyour first Pirate’s Relic.

However, the enemy impeding your path this timewill be the Brineborn Demon.
This fiend’sweakness is Fire, but this is not how you will be able to stagger it. In order to stagger this fiend, you will need to wait for aspecific moment in the fightand then strike at the right time. After a certain amount of time has passed, the Brineborn Demonwill use Graviga. Before using this ability,it will use a Counterstance. During this Counterstance, you will be able to Pressure and then Stagger it.

The Third Pirate’s Relic
The third treasure will have you heading back to where you startedin Costa Del Sol. Travel northeast towards a narrow strip of water between two landmasses — as shown above.Follow along the left sideof this strip, and you will find another glowing red circle by a dock, and another fiend waiting to fight you. This time around,it will be Hueyacoatl.This fiend isweak to Wind, but you will need to be wary of it when you attack.
This fiend willenter a Supercharged state, and if you should attack it while it is in this state, you riskbeing paralyzedby an electric attack. However, attacking this fiend while it is in the Supercharged state isalso how you will be able to Pressureit — and subsequently Stagger it. This means you will need to put yourself in a more dangerous situation in order to take down this foe. Once this fiend has fallen, head on over to the yellow grips to climb up and open the chest with the third Pirate’s Relic within.

Once you have the third Pirate’s Relic, keep heading northeast and take the first left turn you see.Watch along the western coastof the larger of the two land masses, and you will see the red light at the end of the last grotto’s dock. As with every previous treasure, you will need to overcome an opponent, and this timeit’s the Sea Dragon.
The Sea Dragon isweak Lighting, but this is not what you will need to Pressure it. This foe will make use ofGalvanizing Flames, and when it does,you will want to poison it. When you successfully poison this enemy while it is using this ability, it willmitigate this ability and Pressure it. Once it is pressured,use Lighting to Stagger it. Once it is defeated, climb up and open the final chest.

Crafting The Corsair’s Compass
Open the Item Transmuter and go to Accessories, you will find Corsair’s Compass. You canuse these materials to craft it. When equipped to a player, it will partition their ATB gauge into 3 segments after they have used 5 types of commands.
