Well, fans of Adam Sandler might not realize, but the actor has often starred alongside his daughters, Sadie and Sunny Sandler, who have practically grown up on sets. Believe it or not, Sandler’s daughters have gained a prominent spot in his films, including some of his best projects.

1. Bedtime Stories (2008)

2. You Don’t Mess With The Zohan (2008)

The very same year, Adam Sandler appeared in theaction-comedyYou Don’t Mess With the Zohan,where he played the titular character. The movie not only marked his long-awaited reunion with Judd Apatow but also featured Sandler’s wife and daughter, Jackie and Sadie in uncredited appearances as mother and daughter.

The movie narrated the story of Zohan, (Adam Sandler) who was looking for a massive career change, after being tired of serving as an Israeli Special Forces Soldier. As the film proceeded, Sandler’s character faked his death to live out his dream of being a hairstylist in New York City.

3. Jack & Jill (2011)

AlthoughJack and Jillis often considered one of Adam Sandler’s worst movies, the 2011 film maintained the trend of casting family members. In the film, Sandler hilariously took on the role of both Jack as well as Jill, who were fraternal twins,alongside cameos from Al Pacinoand Johnny Depp, playing themselves.

In the movie, Sandler’s daughters Sadie and Sunny made cameo appearances as little girls on the cruise ship that Jack & Jill’s family were vacationing on. Among few of Sadie and Sunny’s early appearances (together) in Adam Sandler’s films, the 2012 raunchy R-rated comedyThat’s My Boy,became another of their onscreen collaboration as sisters, alongside their father. Although they had a fleeting cameo as children running a local lemonade stand, it helped the kids get habituated to professionalism early on.

Narrating the tale of five former friends and their families, who reunite following the death of their high school basketball coach, the film saw Chris Rock, David Spade, Kevin James, and Rob Schneider together.

Meanwhile, other familiar faces in Sandler’s sphere also included his wife Jackie, and daughters Sunny and Sadie as the wife and children of Richie Minervini’s Tardio, who was a member of the five friends’ rival group. Well, the movie narrating the tale of two chaotic families, who come together after being forced to share a South African vacation package, saw Jackie and Sunny appear in minor roles, playing the Hollywood Stepmom and the Wall Street Stepdaughter.

Meanwhile, Sadie and her grandmother, Judith appeared in the film as the Little League Announcer and her grandmother. And surprisingly, Sandler’s family captured hearts with their brief but beloved appearances.

Adam Sandler’sPixelswas a bigger-budget sci-fi comedy than what the actor was generally known for. The film saw aliens attacking Earth in the form of a video game they had received as a time capsule, and it’s up to Sandler’s character Sam Brenner, to save the day.

The 2015 movie once again turned out to be a family affair, as the actor’s wife Jackie appeared as President’s assistant Jennifer, whereas Sadie and Sunny appeared in cameos as a sweet Girl Scout and Lemonade Sadie. The film also featured Sandler’s nephew Jared as the White House Junior Aide.

Jackie appeared inThe Do-Overas Joan, whereas her daughters Sadie and Sunny appeared as Auto Store Lou’s daughters, Sally and Daisy. Once again, although these roles were quite brief for his family members, they added an extra layer of warmth to the film’s humorous narrative.

In the movie, Sandler’s wife Jackie appeared as the Great Looking Flight Attendant, whereas his daughters Sunny and Sadie appeared as children Brittany and Summer, respectively. However, despite proving that family bonding can happen even amid chaos, Sandler’s family members didn’t return for the film’s 2023 sequel.

12. You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah (2023)

Eventually, the day came when Adam Sandler’s family transitioned from cameo appearances and small supporting roles in his films to stepping into the spotlight. The coming-of-age comedyYou Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah, based on the novel by Fiona Rosenbloom, saw Sunny Sandler as Stacy, preparing for her Bat Mitzvah only for it to turn into a disaster.

Alongside Sunny in the lead role, her real-life sister Sadie played her on-screen older sister, Ronnie, while their mom Jackie Sandler played the mother of Stacy’s best friend. As for Adam Sandler, the tables turned and he appeared in a supporting role as Stacy and Ronnie’s father Danny. Available for streaming, the film earned praise for a strong comedic lead performance and turned out to be Sandler’s best Netflix movie to date.
