The biggest item on the list isthe transition to the Unity 2022 engine. Players are also happy to see long-awaited community pitches turned into reality.
Arena has just receivedpatch 0.2.1.0, witha free weekend running until September 23, while Escape From Tarkov sits on version 0.15.0.3 followingthe August wipe.
EFT: Arena Patch 0.2.2.0
The nextArenapatch should introducenew game modes.These should be theOverrun cooperative tower defense mode for five playersand the Shootout Tournament round-robin for four to six teams.
Patch 0.2.2.0 should also bring various technical and quality-of-life improvements, a new map, and an unspecified high-explosive grenade.

Escape From Tarkovwill finally move to Unity 2022.The transition was originally planned for earlier patches, but BattleState Games held back on the plans duringthe runtime fee crisis.
Unity 2022 would not be a paradigm shift from Unity 2021 but would allow the implementation of the AMD Fidelity FX Super Resolution 3 (FSR 3 for short) and Nvidia Deep-Learning Super Sampling 3.
Escape From Tarkov Patch 0.15.5.0
Tarkovloading times are famously long, especially in the PvP branch, but with patch 0.15.5.0, the wait will be easier withstash and hideout interactions while waiting.
BSG has not provided specifics on this feature, but it should allow players to sell items on the flea market and interact with traders.
Keeping up with the stash theme, players will be able to anchor items in place, making the “Sort Automatically” feature less traumatic.
On the technical end,Tarkovdenizens should expect unspecified performance, sound, and AI improvements. The newly introduced PMC karma might get an overhaul, but this is not confirmed yet.

The most curious item in theArenaroadmap for 2024 is the Battle Pass system.
It is unclear whether this will introduce microtransactions to the gameor if it will rely on the Lega medals obtainable by completing weekly challenges from the trader Ref.
This patch should also add another location toEFT: Arena, plus some QoL improvements.
