What Is A Golden Scarab?
Golden or Gold Scarab as mentioned above is a runes quantity booster. This means if you have gotten your hands on it, and then equip it, you will earn more runes for killing an enemy compared to when you kill them without the Talisman. While this also applies to bosses, but Golden Scarab is usually used for farming enemies that respawn after resting at a Site of Grace.
Where To Find A Golden Scarab
The journey to find the Golden Scarab can be a bit tricky and time-consuming. The Golden Scarab is found in the Caelid region. Before you venture into the area, brace yourself as you will be tackling two of the Cleanrot Knights guarding the Abandoned Cave. Make sure to carry enough supplies to heal yourself as the battle will be slightly longer.
to reach the Abandoned Cave, you need to find the Smoldering Wall Site of Grace. Now, hug the burning wall and move to the east until you reach the edge of a valley. As shown in the video above, use torrent’s double jump to reach the entrance of Abandoned Cave, which is located on the inner wall of the cliffs on the opposite side.
Once you are in, follow the path down the cave and move left when you are inside the Scarlet Rot swamp. Navigating the cave can be difficult, which is why we recommend you watch the video. After the swamp. you need to take a hard right and jump down. Then, follow the path straight until you are inside another tunnel. Take another right when you reach two crawling enemies inside the tunnel. In the new swampy area, turn right and enter the final tunnel. At the end of this tunnel, you will spot the entrance to the boss arena. You must take out two Cleanrot Knights to obtain the Golden Scarab.
