Elden Ring Nightreignhas a lot of Nightfarers for you to try. Once you’ve found one you like, there’s even more interesting information to discover about them if you know where to look. To do this, you’ll need to start and finish the Remembrance quests for any Nightfarers you’re interested in.
Elden Ring Nightreign: How To Play Recluse
Here are the best weapons, relics, team comp, and strategies that you should use to play Recluse in Elden Ring Nightreign.
Unlike the traditional FromSoftware questlines, the Remembrance quests are actually rather simple to follow and complete. Recluse’s, in particular, can be completed relatively quickly, depending on how many Nightlords you’ve defeated previously.

To begin any of these, you’ll need tofind Memory Fragmentsfor each Nightfarer and then go to the book located in the library of Roundtable Hold. From there, certain chapters of the book will be able to launch you into sections of these Remembrance quests.
Chapter Two
To unlock Chapter Two, you’ll need to defeat a Nightlord as Recluse. I recommendLibra, Creature of Night, since Recluse is an excellent pick against this boss.
Once you’ve done that, you should visit the journal in the Roundtable Hold to start Chapter Two of the Remembrance quest. You’ll need to speak with Iron Menial in the western part of the hold to find out what you need to do for this quest.

They want you to acquire a Night Shard, which just means you’ll need to beat a specific boss on the map during an expedition. This boss should have a unique icon that you should notice almost immediately. Start an expedition with Recluse and this quest active, and you’ll see a marker on your map to designate the required field boss.
This boss isn’t difficult and can be handled with your team of three easily if you can convince everyone to route towards it during your run.

After this expedition, return to Iron Menial to claim your reward and receive Recluse’s Chalice. The next chapter should automatically unlock for you upon your return, but if it doesn’t, you can always start and finish a new expedition to unlock the next chapter.

Chapter Four
This part is easy since you don’t need to even start an expedition to complete it. Once you begin the Remembrance, go to the table and read the note.
You’ll need to go speak to Iron Menial again, but this time they’re hanging out by the Small Jar Bazaar. They’ll give you back the Night Shard, which reveals some tracks of blood on the ground for you to follow.

Following this trail leads you to the waiting room section in the Roundtable Hold. Once you interact with the blue blood, you’ll receive the Vestige of Night relic and complete this part of the Remembrance.
Chapter Five should automatically unlock after completing this, but Chapter Six will require you to beat Four Nightlords overall with any characters.

Chapters Six & Seven
Chapter Six will have you looking to find someone hiding out at the Roundtable Hold. You can easily find them at the Sparring Grounds by the equipment tent.
Iron Menial is there, but if you speak with them, it seems something is wrong. Attack them, and they will transform into a version of Recluse and will have some new dialogue for you.
Speak with them until the text “From somewhere, the sound of a heavy door opening rings out”. Now you just need to find the real Iron Menial who should be down the stairs by the Small Jar Bazaar.
Once you go down the stairs, make a U-turn around the wall, and the door down there should be unlocked. You’ll need to fix up Iron Menial and speak to them once you’ve found them.
Once you finish this Remembrance, you’ll unlock theBone-Like Stonerelic. Now, to finish off the entire Remembrance, you’ll need to defeat at least four Nightlords and claim victory over the final Nightlord.
After you do that, you can head to the beds in the waiting room and interact with the crying baby to gain Recluse’s Remembrance Skin. Now, you just have to complete the other quests for allthe other Nightfarers.
