In order to find the armor for yourself, however, you will need to gain access to theAltus Plateauand then theCapital Outskirts, just outsideLeyndell, Royal Capital. The armor can be found inAuriza Hero’s Grave, a dungeon located in the eastern Capital Outskirts.

To earn theCrucible Axe Armor Set, you will need to navigateAuriza Hero’s Graveand defeat the double boss at the end of the dungeon:Crucible Knight Ordovisand aLesser Crucible Knight. This is an incredibly tough fight, and a significant dungeon to navigate, soupgradeyourweapon(s)andSpirit Ashof choice if you have the resources to do so. Also, consider collecting any nearbyGolden SeedsorSacred Tearsto boost the effectiveness of yourFlask of Crimson Tears. You will also need aStonesword Keyin orderto enterAuriza Hero’s Grave.
Tip: if you haven’t acquired it, consider grabbingMargit’s ShacklefromPatches. A hidden use of the item is that it will trigger any traps and make theChariots destroy each otherwhen they collide.Destroying the Chariotsin Azura Hero’s Grave willrewardyou with theTree Sentinel Armorand theAsh of War: Holy Ground.
How To Reach Auriza Hero’s Grave
Auriza Hero’s Grave has a couple ofwell-hidden passagesthroughout, so make sure toreturn laterwhen you’re in a moreexploratory mood.
Defeat Crucible Knight Ordovis and Lesser Crucible Knight
After navigating the chariot death maze that is Auriza Hero’s Grave, you will reach the dungeon’s boss fog.
This is adouble boss fight, and both enemies are fairlyaggressive. While the boss arena might feel sizeable at first, you’ll quickly wish you had more room to move around. This fight is aboutpatienceandspatial awareness. It is often better tocircle aroundto have more space to back away rather than get that extra hit because each of their attacks staggers you and takes a huge chunk of health away. Also:be prepared to die several times. This boss fight is a real difficulty leap over the vast majority of theMinor Dungeonsin Elden Ring.
If all else fails, considerSummoning another playerto help with the battle. There isno shame in jolly cooperation!
