Elden Ringplayers have a plethora of builds available while starting the game, and many are wondering what is the best samurai build.
The Samurai is one of the most popular classes in the game, considering that you get both a good ranged and melee character.
Elden Ring Best Samurai Builds For New Game & Plus (NG+)
If you are playing as a Samurai, you would be initially focusing a lot on Dexterity, Vigor, and Mind. The first two will help you improve your melee combat. Ideally, you should be looking somewhere around 20 each on Dexterity and Vigor, and you should be investing points in them alternatively. This will make sure that you not only have good scaling but also have enough attributes to get some good weapons later down the line. On top of that, the Vigor will ensure that you can tank enough damage when you are taking part in those close-ranged combats.
The other thing you need to be focusing on is Mind. Mind will help you build focus which can be very useful for your bow shots. The bow can turn out to be very useful early and mid-game, where you can easily take out even higher leveled enemies from far off. Along with that, having some good amount of Endurance can also be good, but you don’t need it a lot considering the fact that the starting armor works pretty well for a long time.
When it comes to the weapon, the Uchigatana can easily carry you till pretty much the end of the game. So if you are focusing on that, the stats you have upgraded till now should be pretty good. Keep focusing on Dex and Vigor, and you should cruise through the game. For Ashes of War, you can get Hoarfrost Stomp.
The other thing you can do is go for an Int build. This will allow you to wield the powerful Moonveil Katana, which is hands down the best weapon in the game. Again, Int and Mind will be quite crucial here, so you need to be focusing on them as the Transient Moonlight weapon art is absolutely amazing.
