Malenia, Blade of Miquella, or Goddess of Rot, is arguably one of thehardest bosses in the game, and although most bosses in the game are optional, players have at least once come across her, but they do not need to necessarily beat her to progress the main storyline.

This boss has incredible speed and fast attack patterns that are just too much for players to understand and beat her, with them wondering how to defeat Malenia after all. One player has now answered that question and shared a trick that might be the easiest way to beat this boss.
User Dspencil shared a post on the r/EldenRingsubreddit titled“Easy game, easy boss,”where they are fighting against the boss. The video only shows the first phase of the boss fight, where they are using Nightrider Glaive Halbred with spinning strikes, Ash of War, and Blood Flame Blade Incantation.

The player keeps striking the Nightrider Glaive Halbred again and again, not giving the boss any chance to attack the player and hit them, and the boss is soon down in a matter of seconds. This has to be the easiest way to beat this boss, and fans have praised the player, adding that this is the best way to defeat the boss.
Players Too Can Beat Malenia With This Trick
Although this trick from the player won’t work in the second phase of the fight, as many players also said, it is impressive to see the player defeating the boss so easily. Players looking to try this out need to defeat the Night’s Cavalry that players encounter at night in Bellum Church.

Defeating The Night’s Cavalry, players acquire the Nightrider Glaive, which they can use against the boss. To get the Spinning strike, players need to get the Ash of War from the Banished Knight’s Halberd, which is dropped by an NPC called Edgar found at the Ravenger’s Shack or Castle Morne.
As for the Bloodflame Blade Incantation, players can find it by locating a Teardrop Scarab that is found just outside the Rose Church in Liurnia of the Lake, which is southwest of the Academy of Raya Lucaria. This incantation improves the player’s weapons with Festering Bloodflame which adds a debuff, helping in building up Blood Loss, and ultimately, beating the boss.
