Where To Find Statues
Statues are apart of the natural landscapeof Dragon’s Dogma 2 and are quite easy to miss. They are typically found on thetop of hills, and your pawns will make a comment about them as soon as they come into view.
There are plenty of statues all over Vermund, but it can be difficult to find them. A good way to search for these statues is to find ahigh spot on the map.For example, climb to the top of a mountain, andlook over the land. You will usually see one or two statues that you’re able to go after. If you still can’t find any, there are a few on the road between Melve and Vernworth.

What Do Statues Do?
Statues seemingly don’t have a function, only acting as aninteresting backdropto your adventures. However, as you might have guessed from your pawn’s constant commentary, these statues hold some secrets that you can use to your benefit.
Most statues, at least the ones not found within cities, arelooking or pointing towards somethingin the distance. They might even havea note at their bottom, giving players a clue about what lies ahead.

If you encounter a statue, make sure you follow through with the hint and look around for any points of interest. It doesn’t always lead you to a treasure chest, but you might end up finding a Seeker Token,a Golden Beetle, a settlement, or even a quest you can experience.
Some statues, like the one found on thepath between Vernworth and Melve, might say it’s only good for showing the local region, but are actually pointing towards a point of interest. In this case, the statue was pointing towards a watch tower which gave the player a very good view of the surroundings, and access to a lot of chests and goodies.
