Dragon’s Dogma 2has a lot of mechanics for the players to master. There are amultitude of vocations, many augments, class skills, and Maister skillsthat will keep the player feeling overwhelmed if they’re not careful. One important mechanic that a lot of players tend to overlook is the crafting mechanic.
Dragon’s Dogma 2 Review: Cryptic & Unforgettable
Dragon’s Dogma 2 is an open-world Fantasy adventure you can’t afford to miss.
Though the game doesn’t have a blacksmithing or enchanting mechanic, youcancraft items in DD2. The list of craftable items isn’t long, but these items can be very important to your playthrough of the game, getting you out of difficult situations and helping you survive in the face of insurmountable odds.

Dragon’s Dogma 2
10Harspud Roborant
Don’t Worry About Stamina
One of the most common materials in the game, Harspud, has a decent restorative effect on theplayer’s Stamina. This effect might seem useless, since your Stamina recovers naturally in a matter of seconds, but it can save your life when you’re in a situation where Stamina doesn’t recover, such asclinging to the back of a monster.
When you combine two Ripened Harspud together, you obtain Dried Spud, a more potent version of the fresh vegetable. Combine that again with Either Greenwarish or Morningtide, and you’ll end up with a Harspud Roborant, a restorative medicine that will restore a lot of your Stamina.

9Salubrious Draught
Basic But Useful
One of the least effective potions in the game, the Salubrious Draught isn’t very effective at increasing your Health points. However, it is better than simply consuming a fruit, and it’s almost as easy to make. You can also also sell the draught for some gold if you’re in a pinch.
To make the Salubrious Draught, you only need a green plant (both Greenwarish and Syrupwork Leaf work fine), and then combine it with a fruit of your choosing. The type of fruit doesn’t change the effects, or even color, of the potion.

8Mincemeat Roborant
Healthy Meat Pellets
Getting dried meat might seem like a difficult task at first, but all you need is a little patience, and some scrags of meat. After two days of sitting in your inventory, the scrags will turn into Aged-Scrags of Meat, which can be combined with other Aged-Scrags to obtain Dried meat, a fairly useful curative in its own right.
Dragon’s Dogma 2: How To Get Panacea
Panacea is one of the best healing items in Dragon’s Dogma 2, but it’s also exceedingly rare (and expensive).
Combine these Dried Meats with Greenwarish or Syrupwort to get a Mincemeat Roborant. If you use Beast steaks instead of Scrags of Meat, you’ll be able to get Fine Mincemeat Roborant, a concoction that will heal significantly more HP than a simple Mincemeat Roborant.

7Exquisite Roborant
For Special Tastes
The crafting table doesn’t simply end at simple Roborants. The Exquisite Roborant recovers both your Health and Stamina, and a ridiculously large amount too. This item becomes more useful in the midgame and doesn’t get utilized when you’re still getting your grips at the start.
to make one, you need to combine a Saurian Tail (an item that the lizard race of Saurians native to Vermund drops aplenty) with any type of basic Roborant, whether Fruit, Mincemeat, Roe, or Harspud.

6Miracle Roborant
Best Recovery Item
Saurian Tails are used to enhance the effects of Roborants. When you use them to enhance the effects of Fine Roborants, you’ll obtain the Miracle Roborant, a curative that heals 1500 units of Health and 1000 units of Stamina. It might seem like overkill early on, but it is very useful later in the game.
Fine Roborants require special materials that are normally hard to find, such as Nomad’s Dried Fruit, Princess Harspud, Beast Steaks, and Tideswimmer. Finding these materials is the hardest part, then you have to make a dried version of them after they age for two days, and then combine these dried forms with a Greenwarish or Syrupwort Leaf to obtain a Fine Roborant.
5Sobering Tonic
Wake Up, Samurai
Caused by lightning strikes and hits to the head, the UnconsciousDebilitationis something you’ll encounter quite often in your travels across the lands of DD2. When Unconscious, players have limited mobility and stay dazed for some time. The only way to cure this affliction is through certain character skills, or the Sobering Tonic.
To get the Sobering Tonic, you only need a Grandpetal and a Morningtide. Both are vegetatables that can be found scattered in Vermund. They are fairly easy to find, and are used in many other recipes as well.
4Waking Powder
Harpies, No Harmonizing
One of the more common enemy types in the game, Harpies, have a distinctly annoying ability: Lullaby. Using this ability, they can put anyone within range to Sleep, and wreak havoc unchecked. If you and your pawns all get affected, the Harpies will take away a good chunk of your HP.
If unaffected, your pawns can help you wake up, but there’s still a chance that the Harpies get to you first and deal a lot of damage. That’s where the Waking Powder comes in. Simply combine a Grandpetal with another Grandpetal, and you’ve got yourself a concoction that will cure you of any sleep you might have.
3Bunch Of Flowers
Woo Your Crush
Despite what the name would suggest, a Bunch of Flowers is really just two flowers combined. This craftable item doesn’t have any restorative use, but it can be used as a fairly effective gift for different NPCs to win their affections.
Dragon’s Dogma 2: How To Raise Main Pawn Affinity
The player’s main Pawn has a hidden Affinity ranking in Dragon’s Dogma 2 that can be maxed out just like with NPCs; here’s how to rank it up.
You can also buy it from various shops, but it comes at a steep price of 1000 Gold. If you craft multiple bunches at once, they will still continue to decay. If you want to ensure they stay fresh, store them your long-term storage at an inn and only take them out when you’re planning on gifting them to an NPC soon after.
2Explosive Arrow
You’d think that a flower wouldn’t do you a lot of good if you want to make an exploding arrow, but fantasy is quite far removed from reality, so why not? Exploding arrows can beused by archersto deal a lot of damage to enemies — especially if they have the tarred debilitation.
These arrows aren’t very expensive to buy either, only costing 50 Gold from most shopkeepers. However, they’re quite indispensable to the Archer vocation, giving them the necessary firepower to go up against the monsters that populate Dragon’s Dogma 2.
1Detoxifying Concoction
Remove The Poison
Whether you get Blighted from accidentally eating rotten food, or due to an enemy’s poison, theonly way to remove the problemwithout sleeping is via the Detoxifying Concoction. From Griffins to Harpies, there are a lot of enemies that can poison the player. Unless you want to continue losing Health, having one of these around is important before you set out into the wilderness.
If left untreated, Blighted can evolve into Fulminant Poison, dealing a large amount of damage and possibly killing the player. If you see that you’ve been dealt the Blighted Affliction, it’s very important to use a curative to remove it before it becomes life-threatening.
