The creator ofDragon Ball Z, the legendary Akira Toriyama, has one last surprise for his fans. Bandai Namco’s upcoming game,Sand Land, had a hidden surprise that was revealed in the latest trailer. A brand new world beyond the dunes whole characters and lore have been created by none other than Akira Toriyama himself.
Set to release on 26th April 2024,Sand Landis going to feature a world very different from the dunes that fans got to know about in the earlier updates. The people of Forest Land, led by Muniel, are sworn to get their hands on Aquanium, a precious resource, that will propel their plans to conquer the world. The project has been done under such secrecy that not even the biggest anime fans got to know about the existence of Forest Land before.

Featuring the Fiend Prince Beelzebub as the protagonist, the game revolves around him and his allies and compatriots journeying across the ruthless expanses of the game in their quest to find the Legendary Spring hidden somewhere in the desert.

But that is not all. The latest trailer forSand Landshowed a brand-new country titled Forest Land with Muniel, the baby-faced assassin, leading the charge. The newly announced world is full of lush green vegetation, unlike the sandy dunes where Beelzebub hails from.
In a quest to rid the world of demons and establish total control over it, Muniel orders the acquisition of Aquanium. General Krowa, General Rosetta, and General Epi are some of the bosses that players will have to go up against.
At the tail end of the trailer, Beelzebub says, “He is not human. Muniel is an angel” hinting at Toriyama playing with the popular trope of angels vs. demons. Fans have previously seen him cast his magic with the Super Saiyans. So, it is no surprise that his take on the age-old angels vs. demons saga with a brand-new world and lore has high expectations.
