In the recent episode ofDemon Slayer, Gyutaro finds himself in a tough spot when he battles Tengen, Tanjiro, and Hinatsuru all at once. At the end of the episode, Tanjiro’s sword is close enough to slay Gyutaro’s neck, and that’s when the episode ends. Now, does Gyutaro die or survive the attack? Well, Let’s find out.
If you have watched the latest episode ofDemon Slayer, you know how it kept all of us on the edge of our seats. The sibling demons are vigorously strong and overpower our sound Hashira, Tengen. But Tengen and hisTsugukosare not weeklings either. They all continuously surprise Gyutaro and his sister Daki with powerful attacks.
In the last scene of episode 8 ofDemon SlayerEntertainment District Arc, Hinatsuru attacks Gyutaro with Kunai Darts, and Tengen takes the opportunity to chop the demon’s legs off. Tanjiro takes the chance and goes for Gyutaro’s head. But that’s when the episode ends.
Does Gyutaro Die?
Gyutaro is definitely in a tight spot right now. With his legs chopped, attack from Kunai darts, and a sword almost slashing his neck, it seems like Gyutaro has no choice but to succumb to the Demon Slayers. But we also know that it won’t be that easy. After all, they are the upper rank 6 of the Twelve Kizuki.

What happens next is, despite being attacked by the darts coated with Wistaria extract, Gyutaro regenerates his legs again and dodges Tanjiro’s attack. Not only does he avoid his attack, but he uses his Blood Demon Art, Rotating Circular Slashes Flying Blood Sickles. Tengen, however, saves Tanjiro from this deadly attack, but in the meantime, Gyutaro gets a hold of Hinatsuru.
So, the picture is quite clear that the struggle of Demon Slayers is not over yet. We still have a lot of fights to enjoy. But this doesn’t mean Gyutaro has forever to live. After a long struggle and a continuous battle for hours, Zenitsu and Inouske are finally able to decapitate Daki. And at the same time, Tanjiro takes a win against Gyutaro by decapitating his head.
