With the release ofthe Remembering update, this option has finally presented itself. All you have to do isbecome friendly with the Fairy Godmotherand complete a simple yet demanding fetch quest.
How To Start Fire Alarm Quest
Like other hazard removal upgrades, this ability is locked behind starting a friendship quest. In this case, it’s theFairy Godmother, butGameloftseems to know how desperate fans have been for this upgrade as you only have to bring Fairy Godmother tofriendship level 2.Since this is the first level you can raise a Disney character to, you won’t be able to hang out with her just yet. That said,find out what her daily favorite gifts are and give her 1 of them.The friendship requirement is low enough that 1 favorite gift will bring her to level 2 instantly.
If she happens to be atChez Remy, fulfilling her order will also do the trick.
Remember that you will have had to finish the story quest lineForgotten Memoriesbefore Fairy Godmother can be befriended. Until then, she will only be interested in guiding you through the story.
Finding The Ingredients
Once Fairy Godmother is at the right level, she will speak with you about removing the fires and will decide with you that Merlin can help.Just stand back while she and Merlin talk, then speak to her again to get the list of ingredients you’ll need.You’re looking for the following:
These items are fairly rare, but with the right know-how, you can easily farm all of them.
How To Get Tourmaline
Tourmaline is a pink gemstone you can mine only inSunlit Plateau and Frozen Heights.Both locations hold more gemstones than just Tourmaline, so to speed up your efforts,you should hang out with a villager with the mining attribute as they will double the specific gemstone you mine from a rock.Since the Fairy Godmother is important for this quest, it’s not a bad idea to pick her and bring her along, so you can speak with her once you’re done finding everything. Once you mine everything in 1 spot, teleport or walk to the other, and if you still lack all 3 tourmalines, just repeat the process at the first location as the rocks will likely respawn within that time.
How To Get Snowballs
Snowballs areonly found in Frozen Heights, but you have 2 ways to get them. you may mine the ice chunks if you have that upgrade, or use your shovel and dig holes.Even though 15 is the highest number, this material should take less time than the Tourmaline due tokinder RNG. There’s another way to get Snowballs if you are lucky, but that will bediscussed later.
How To Get Dream Shards
Dream Shards are easily the item that spawns the most out of the ingredients list, and if you’ve been stockpiling them, you likely have far more than the required 5. That said, if you do need more,dig at shining spots in any area remove Night Thorns in any area, or feed a critter their favorite food in any area— these all tend to reward 1 or 2 Dream Shards at a time.
How To Get Purple Impatiens
Purple Impatiensonly appear in The Forgotten Lands.It’s 1 of only 2 species of Impatiens, while the rest of the flowers in the Lands are Nasturtiums.Pick every flower currently in the Forgotten Lands, sell every one of them besides the Purple Impatiens, then wait around up to 15 minutes for the respawn cycle.Waiting this long is the best way to guarantee every spawn point gets a flower.
If your RNG is unlucky, you could be doing this forover an hour.
How To Get Empty Vials
There are 2 ways to get an Empty Vial, but only 1 may be available to you.If you have Kristoff’s Stall unlocked and fully upgraded, there’s a chance he is selling them,but even in that case, the items he sells on the bottom row vary from day to day, so you may still not be able to buy them.
Kristoff’s Stall will alsosometimes sell Snowballs, but it’s up to chance if he is currently selling them or not.
If you can’t buy one,you can craft an Empty Vial from 3 pieces of Glass.If you don’t have Glass at the moment,Glass is craftable from Sand and Coal.

How To Craft & Use The Icy Enchantment
Once you have the right amount of all 5 materials, go to anycrafting tableand find theIcy Enchantmentin thePotion & Enchantment sectionto craft it.
Then, open your inventory and use the Enchantment. This will unlock the ability toput out fires with your watering can.
Speak with Fairy Godmother again, and she’ll ask you to try out the Enchantment by putting out 5 fires. Once you’ve done this, she’ll have something else for you to do to finish her quest, butyou don’t have to continue the quest to keep the ability — you now permanently have the ability.When you extinguish a fire,you will either gain a yellow chest with over 100 coins inside, or more glass.Considering the vast amount of quest items that need an Empty Vial, this will be a great way to farm for future purposes.
