Recently, at’DigiFes 2021,‘Toei Animation confirmed not one but two upcomingDigimonanime projects. We also got new teaser visuals for the projects along with the announcement, and here’s everything you need to know about it.
Digimon, or Digital Monsters, is a popular Japanese media franchise that includes toys, anime, video games, and manga. The firstDigimonanime series was released back in 1999, and since then, we’ve seen several anime and stand-alone movies based on it.
Currently, the anime community is enjoying theDigimon Adventureanime series. Toei Animation confirmed that the show would run for a total of 66 episodes. So, with episode 60 coming out next weekend, the anime series will soon come to an end. Fortunately, the community already has another Digimon anime to look forward to in 2021.
Digimon Ghost Game Anime series and Adventure 02 movie announced
Toei Animation surprised the community by announcing twoDigimonanime projects simultaneously. Firstly, a new anime series,Digimon Ghost Game, will premiere in 2021 on Fuji TV. According to the announcement, Angoramon, Gammamon, and Jellymon will appear in the anime.

Besides the anime series, the creators also confirmed that aDigimonAdventure 02 anime film is also in production.
Director by Tomohisa Taguchi, the film will feature Daisuke Motomiya and other familiar faces from the anime series. The upcoming film also got an intriguing teaser trailer, featuring some dialogues and beautiful artwork.
