Diablo 4is currently in Season 3, or Season of the Construct, which will end in May. Blizzard Entertainment has now laid out its plans forDiablo 4Season 4, which will bring several major changes to the game that may make the players feel like they are playingDiablo 5.
The massive changes have been announced after the developer has been teasing to bring core changes to the game. The updates are widespread and include almost everything in-game, such as the loot system, crafting, items, and much more, for an enhanced experience.
Diablo 4 Season 4 is Not Merely an Update, but a Whole New Game
The details of the upcomingDiablo 4season were announced during a nearly two-hour-long Campfire Chat stream. Season 4 will see item changes affecting the whole game and will bring loot rework, which will be permanent from then on and focuses on how players build their character by loot and will also make character progression more creative.

The Gem system will undergo a rework in the next season. There is a new way to upgrade the loot. The boss will now drop a glove with three stats upon defeat, and legendary and rare items have one fewer stat. The gloves are perfect, but the player may require them to temper the blacksmith. A new ‘manual’item can be found to add one of four mobility-based stats to the gloves.
The movement speed stat can also be added to the item. One more stat can be added to upgrade the Bone Splinters skill, which will make it shoot more projectiles. Players can also use the newly introduced Masterworking system to increase all stats, including temper, up to 12 times. If players are lucky, they will also be able to roll four upgrades to their movement speed.
Season 4 Will Bring Changes to Items and Affixes and Add New Endgame Activities
There will be changes in items, affixes, and drops. The item stats are now simplified with flat bonuses such as more damage and health. Items with stats like intelligence and strength will only be dropped for the classes they benefit the most from, and the legendaries in World Tier 4 will drop at maximum item power.

The uniques will now drop in world tiers 1 and 2, and Uber uniques can drop from level 55+ monsters. Unnecessary affixes will be removed, and important ones will be adjusted. The legendary features will be accessible in the Codex of Power and several others. New endgame activities are also added inDiablo 4.
The Helltide will now appear in all world tiers with extra monsters and a new summonable boss. A new boss, Andariel, is also added, who drops the same items as Duriel. The Pit of the Artificer features timed and randomized dungeons of increasing difficulty that give rare crafting materials and items to summon. The new Tormented bosses have a higher chance of dropping Uber Uniques.
