This BlizzCon has certainly been an interesting one for Blizzard. In the middle of a year filled withbacklashandprotests, the company revealed two brand new games:Diablo 4andOverwatch 2.Both continue some of Blizzard’s biggest franchises, and Diablo 4, in particular, has been a long time coming. While the reveal and gameplay trailers for both titles were used to ease players into these new games, Blizzard’s President J. Allan Brack has commented on both of the games and a plethora of new screenshots have been released.

When it comes toDiablo 4, J. Allan Brack said “Sanctuary has been a home toDiabloplayers for more than 20 years, and it’s with our own deep passion for the series and a deep appreciation of the community that we announceDiablo 4today. We’re excited to be returning to the dark, quintessentialDiablogameplay that players love while expanding the world and story in new ways, and we can’t wait for more people to be able to experience it.”Diablo 4seems to look and play just like the other games in that classic series, something that becomes remarkably clear in its gameplay trailer and the screenshots that you’re able to see below:

While the gap betweenOverwatchgames is shorter than the one betweenDiablo IIIandDiablo 4, the sequel still makes some notable changes by fleshing out the story and PvE. “WithOverwatch 2, we’re building the cooperative, narrative-driven game experience that players have been asking for since the original—and that we’ve wanted to make for a long time. We’re looking forward to telling the next chapter of this epic story in-game, and we’re excited to give players a whole-new kind of co-op experience built around progressing and customizing their favorite heroes—all while providing even more of everything they love aboutOverwatchtoday,” is what J. Allan Brack had to say about this titles.
