It’s that time of the year again whenDestiny 2players gather around to celebrate the Solstice event for a limited time and collect brand-new, glowing pieces of armor as they farm for some new in-game currencies.

The Solstice event introduces three new currencies: Silver Leaves, Silver Ash, and Kindling. All of these currencies are only available for a limited time, and you will need all of them if you want to fully upgrade every Sunlit armor piece that you receive during the event.
How To Get Silver Ash
Silver Ash can only beobtained by using Silver Leaves. In fact, there is a process where you may transform your Silver Leaves into Silver Ash, and that is done by completing a Bonfire Bash activity.
The important part about this activity is the fact that you do need to have some Silver Leaves before starting a Bonfire Bash mission to make it more worthwhile.
How To Complete Bonfire Bash Activity
Open your Director and select Tower. You should be able to spot a new activity icon in the Tower map for Bonfire Bash, but you can’t launch it before talking to Eva Levante. So, spawn inside the tower and meet Eva Levante in the same spot where we used to meet Lord Saladin for his Iron Banner matches a few days earlier.
After receiving a full armor set from Eva, wear them all, and now you can launch a Bonfire Bash activity. As soon as the event is launched, you will spot a timer on the left side of your screen, with a series of tasks repeating in a loop.
The mission starts by tasking players to destroy a big Taken Blight in the middle of the map, which spawns a giant bonfire. After that, a new task called “Ignite the Bonfire” begins. In this part, certain orange-bar mini-bosses will spawn, known as Ignition Carrier. These mini-bosses will glow white and their location will be marked for all Guardians.
As soon as you kill the carrier, it will drop three orbs. Each Guardian needs to pick up one orb and dunk it inside the bonfire spawned earlier. Doing so will increase the “Igniters Consumed” counter on your screen, and you need to raise it as high as you’re able to before the timer hits zero.
Keep in mind that the orbs dropping from carriers must be picked up in 10 seconds, or they will disappear. It is almost impossible for a Guardian to dunk more than one orbs, which is the reason why every Fireteam member should stand next to the Ignition Carrier, so they can pick up the orbs as soon as possible.
This task will be interrupted by a number of Taken enemies spawning on top of the buildings in the area, and you need to take down those Taken mini-bosses to resume dunking the orbs.
Once you run out of time, a giant Taken boss will spawn. Killing it will put an end to the activity, and you will then receive rewards, including Silver Ash based on the amount of Igniters you have consumed on the bonfire. Having more Silver Leaves before starting this mission will also significantly increase the amount of Silver Ash you earn in the end.
