This weapon also has an Exotic perk called High Octane, which allows this weapon to replenish fuel faster when Igniting combatants from any source. Hence with the correct Solar build focused around Scorch and Ignitions, you may use Dragon’s Breath while dealing maximum damage and not having to reload the weapon.

The Exotic Catalyst of Dragon’s Breath significantly improves the weapon’s performance by allowing it to replenish its fuel faster, allowing it to deal maximum damage much more quickly and efficiently.Defeating targets with Dragon’s Breath also causes combatants to drop Firesprites, which are Solar elemental pickups that give Melee energy.
The Exotic Catalyst of Dragon’s Breath comes from a quest that you’re able to obtain from the Banshee-44 vendor after you obtain the Exotic from the Battle Pass. Load into the tower and head over to Banshee-44. He will give you the quest “An Old Flame” that requires 3 steps to complete.

The first step requires players to defeat 5 bosses, which can be found in Raids, Dungeons, Seasonal Activities, Strikes, and Nightfalls.The first also requires you to defeat 50 Scorched combatants. This Scorch can come from any source and does not have to be from the Exotic itself.

The third step of the quest does not require you to play any activity or complete a certain objective. It just tells you to go to the Banshee-44 vendor, who will reward you with the Exotic Catalyst once you interact with him.
Now you will have the Exotic Catalyst, but you will need to progress the Catalyst by defeating combatants with Dragon’s Breath.You will need to get about 400-500 kills with Dragon’s Breath and, once done, the Exotic Catalyst will be unlocked.
