Destiny 2’s Season of the Seraph enters week 5, bringing along with it new challenges, new storyline steps to explore, and the rarereturn of Saladinand his Iron Banner activity. This set of challenges shrinks further down to7 challenges total, but they more than make up for it with greater XP rewards.

More Than A Weapon V
Complete Week 5 of “More Than a Weapon.”
Defeat Hive and Taken combatants anywhere in the system.
Rewards: Exo Frame Module, Challenger XP+
Entering week 5 of Season of the Seraph brings with it the next set of quest steps furthering the ‘More Than a Weapon’ seasonal storyline. Last week sawRasputin remove the Clovis AI from the Exo Frame, and Rasputin has now assumed control of said Exo Frame.Visit Rasputinon the H.E.L.M. in order to continue the seasonal storyline.
Quick Heists
Complete a Heist Battleground in under 12 minutes.
Rewards: Challenger XP+
This seasonal weekly challenge is thankfully retroactive, so you might find that you’ve already completed it before logging in. For those of you who still need to complete a Heist Battleground inunder 12 minutes, suit up with your favorite subclass and loadout, and get to it! You’ll want towork in concert with your strike teamand avoid taking unnecessary risks; running ahead and dying will make it difficult for your team to resurrect you, adding precious seconds to the Heist Battleground completion.Play it safe, stick together, and you’ll finish this in no time.

Rewards: Challenger XP++, Bright Dust
The instructions on this one are fairly simple, but it might take a while to complete it. You’ll need to reachRank 16 in Vanguard, Crucible, or Gambit playlists; only then will you be able to claim this powerful new Pulse Rifle as a reward from the Vanguard, Crusible, or Gambit vendors.

Fell And Fallen
Defeat Fallen and Hive bosses in strikes or Vanguard playlists.
Another fairly straightforward challenge, this one does not seem to be retroactive, but with some casual Vanguard playlist activities, you should have no trouble completing this challenge by the end of the season with little thought paid to it. If you’re raring to complete it for the precious XP and Bright Dust, you shouldfocus on specific strikes to ensure you complete it as efficiently as possible; you don’t want to waste time on a strike with a Cabal boss through the random Vanguard strike playlist, do you?
Heist Battlegrounds IV
In the Heist Battlegrounds playlist, complete Heists and defeat Champions.
Another retroactive challenge, you might find this already complete when you log on.Consider pairing this with the Quick Heistschallenge and run through a few Heist Battlegrounds to progress toward completion on this challenge.
Umbral Focusing
Focus Season of the Seraph weapon or armor engrams at the Exo Frame in the H.E.L.M..
As you play in regular playlist activities, you’ll occasionally receive the rareUmbral Engram, recognizable by the dark blots covering the usual purple glow of a Legendary Engram. With Umbral Engrams in hand, take them to theExo Framelocated in theH.E.L.M.in order to focus them intoSeason of the Seraph weapons or armor pieces. Note: you will need to have unlocked the weapon/armor previous in order to focus them at the Exo Frame.

Complete Iron Banner matches. Earn bonus progress for wins.
Iron Banner is here for alimited time! It isavailable January 3-10,and it will be available for one other week later in the season, so you’ll have limited opportunity to complete this challenge. You can access the Iron Banner activity via the Crucible playlist, and you can claim Iron Banner rewards from Lord Saladin at the Tower. Don’t miss out!
