WithDestiny2’s Season of Plunder entering week 4 of seasonal challenges, so too does Sails of the Shipstealer enter into the fourth week of quest steps (steps 27-33). While previous weeks have focused a bit on the budding conflict of Mithrax hiding his dark past from his daughter, Eido, that clash has taken a backburner this week.

Instead, you are introduced to a possible new faction which is seeking out theserelics of darkness. On top of this, Mithrax further reveals that he does seem to know what these relics truly are—but he continues to hide this information from the crew.
Step 27: Visit The Star Chart In The H.E.L.M.
Return to the H.E.L.M. and interact with the seasonal Star Chart. Rather than the usual message from Mithrax, you will be treated to a message from his daughter,Eido. She explains that she spoke with her father about his recent behavior, and he explained to her that he merely wished to shield her from Eramis’ violence. It seems he’s still set on keeping the secrets of his past from her.
Eido will continue fighting against Eramis and assisting you however she can.
Step 28: Loot Expedition Buried Treasure
Full text: Loot Expedition buried treasure on any destination and defeat combatants onEuropa. Combatants defeated during Expedition grant additional progress.
You’ll simply want to navigate to the H.E.L.M. and select the Expedition Playlist on the left side of the H.E.L.M. map. This week’s Expedition returns to theCosmodrome, so you’ll need to get those Europa kills by visiting the location directly. Before embarking on your Expedition, remember toequip a treasure map! Navigate to the Quests tab, then to Captain’s Atlas, and click on Details. Equipping a Basic Treasure Map will be sufficient. With a treasure map equipped, you’ll be able to dig up the buried treasure at the end of the Expedition.

Step 29: Complete Pirate Hideout: Alaaks, the Beast Tamer
Full text: You have located a Pirate Hideout deep in the Themis Cluster. Infiltrate the hideout and claim the relic within. Launch Pirate Hideouts from the Destinations tab in the H.E.L.M.
This Pirate Hideout should unfold similarly to the previous ones from weeks past. A new pirate lord has been discovered, and it’s up to you to storm their fortress and take them down. But when you enter, you discover that someone else has arrived first; you come across eliksni corpses, as if a battle has recently taken place.
After navigating through some broken platforms and ductwork, you’ll encounterAlaaks, the Beast Tamer, still alive. The fight will consist of multiple waves wherein you must defeat three of Alaaks prized beasts, then Alaaks begins the fight shielded until you defeat his three prized beasts, then his shields drop and moreeliskni piratesstream into the room. After doing enough damage to Alaaks, his shields go up again, and three more of his prized beasts show up. This process repeats until Alaaks is defeated.
Retrieve the relic from Alaaks’ treasure horde. Spider and Drifter discuss the mysterious attacker on the hideout. You found no evidence of exactly who attacked Alaaks’ hideout, or why, but Spider and Drifter have concerns.
Step 30: Visit The Ether Tank Holoprojector
Full text: A message awaits you on the holoprojector at The Ether Tank in the Eliksni Quarter.
Navigate to the H.E.L.M. and Select theLast City: Eliksni Quarterlocation on the left side of the H.E.L.M. Upon landing, the holoprojector outside of The Ether Tank will be straight ahead, just to the left of the yellow vending machine.
Mithrax appears on the holoprojector. He’s deeply concerned that another force had raided Alaaks’ Pirate Hideout. He spirals a bit, worried that another party is interested in these relics. He clearly knows exactly what they are, or what they’re capable of, but hedoes not divulge this informationyet. He begs you for some more time and patience, and he will share the truth soon.
Step 31: Visit Spider In The Ether Tank
Spider would like you to visit him in The Ether Tank. Head around the corner and inside of The Ether Tank to speak with Spider. This completes the short step 31, rolling you right into step 32.

Step 32: Play Spider’s Game
He offers you the usual choices: three options ofSpider’s Special Engram. The last few times you’ve played this game, the rewards have been meager indeed, but this time, you receive a Deepsight Resonance seasonal weapon.
Spider is surprised at your ‘good luck,’ and he quickly dismisses you. You then receive atransmission from Eido, who explains she deployed the signal suppressor when you entered The Ether Tank. If you remember in previous weeks, she’s noticed a strange signal the last few times, and vowed to get to the bottom of it. Eido doesn’t fully voice her concerns, but she is clearly growing suspicious of Spider’s little game of ‘chance.’
Step 33: Await Mithrax And Eido
Mithrax and Eido are busy studying the relic you recovered from Alaaks’ Pirate Hideout, and they’ll contact you when they have more information.This marks the endof the Sails of the Shipstealer week 4 quest. If you haven’t already, make sure to drop off the relic on the table in the H.E.L.M. to progress the Antiquarian IV week 4 seasonal challenge.
Bonus Lore
Return to the holoprojector outside of The Ether Tank and interact with the blue screen off to the right side. You’ll overhear a conversation betweenSaint-14 and Mithraxdiscussing the recent seasonal activities. Mithrax expresses his sadness in needing to relive memories of his dark past. Saint-14 understands that pain, and he hopes to support Mithrax in these trying times. Mithrax also asks after Osiris, who still has not awoken from his Savathun-invoked slumber. This conversation is a nice reminder of their friendship established back inSeason of the Splicer.
