Dungeons are three-player activities inDestiny 2that allow players to solve various mechanics and defeat bosses to progress and claim high-tier loot. There are eightDungeons in Destiny 2starting from The Shattered Throne back in Forsaken to Warlord’s Ruin in Season of the Wish.

Each Dungeon except for Prophecy has its own unique Exotic. Where the Exotics of The Shattered Throne, Pit of Heresy, and Grasp of Avarice come from a quest. The rest of the Exotics are random drops after defeating the final boss.
7Heartshadow

Salient Features
Heartshadow is a Sword that drops from the Duality Dungeon and hasVoid affinity. This Exotic’s functionality revolves around the Void subclass verbs Invisibility and Weaken. However, how its Exotic perk works makes it extremely situational.
It has the Exotic perk Exhumation which turns the player invisible if you do a heavy attack with full Sword energy. It also has another intrinsic perk which grants the weapon increased weapon damage if you remain invisible for a short time.

6Hierarchy of Needs
Limited Use Scenarios
Hierarchy of Needs is aPrecision Bow that has Solar affinityand drops from the Spire of the Watcher Dungeon. Hierarchy of Needs works by creating Guidance Rings, which are created by getting precision hits and final blows with this weapon.
Once you have a full charge, you may hip-fire to create a Guidance Ring. The arrows fired through Guidance Rings release seeking projectiles, which do more damage based on the distance traveled. Hierarchy of Needs is a pretty unique and fun Exotic but is limited by its use cases.

Xenophage is a Solar Machine Gun that is available through a quest that features the Pit of Heresy Dungeon. Xenophage is a one-of-a-kind Machine Gun that fires high-powered explosive ammunition that deals area-of-effect damage.

Xenophage is fun to use but it lacks in both the DPS department as well as crowd control department. There are better Legendary weapons in the Heavy slot that do better DPS and crowd control putting it in a weird spot.

4The Navigator
Woven Mail Weaponized
The Navigator is a Strand Trace Rifle and it drops from the final encounter of the Ghosts of the Deep Dungeon. It is one of a few support weapons as its main functionality lies in providing the user and allies with Woven Mail.
Woven Mail is an extremely potent damage resist source and being able to use it on any subclass is beneficial. The Navigator is also able to reduce the damage output of enemies by Severing them as its Exotic perk Weft Cutter allows it to Sever targets by dealing sustained damage.

3Buried Bloodline
Devour Weaponized
Buried Bloodline is a Special ammo Sidearm that drops from the Warlord’s Ruin Dungeon. It is an extremely unique archetype of Sidearm as it fires tracking projectiles and has almost no damage falloff.

The main appeal of Buried Bloodline is its ability to apply Devour, as its main Exotic perk gives the user Devour upon getting rapid kills with this weapon. The Exotic Catalyst of this weapon enables it to weaken combatants when you have Devour active.

2Gjallahorn
The Legendary Rocket
Gjallahorn made its return to Destiny 2 with the 30th Anniversary Pack and was a part of the Grasp of Avarice Dungeon. It drops from a quest that requires you to complete the Dungeon at least once. Gjallahorn comes with Wolfpack Rounds which allows the Rockets fired to split into tracking cluster missiles upon detonation.
Gjallahorn also provides Wolfpack Rounds to other nearby allies and theirLegendary Rocket Launchers. Wolfpack Rounds seriously improves the damage of Rocket Launchers and in a team-based setting such as Dungeons and Raids having a Gjallahorn on a team is a must. Wolfpack Rounds also allows Gjallahorn to clear a group of combatants with a single shot.

1Wish-Ender
Best Endgame Weapon
Wish-Ender is a Kinetic Bow that is part of a quest that involves The Shattered Throne Dungeon. Wish-Ender thanks to the buff it got a while back that allows it to stun Anti-Barrier Champions has become an absolute beast in higher-difficulty content, especially Grandmaster Nightfalls.
Wish-Ender also has the Exotic perk Broadhead that damages the target both on entry and exit making it deal three times the normal damage but in PvE only. For PvP, it has another perk called Queen’s Wrath which allows the user to see combatants behind walls when the arrow is fully drawn.
