Delta Force PS5, Xbox Series X|S Graphical Output Details
In a recentQ&A byTeam Jade on the console version, the studio confirmed the shooter’s frame rate and resolution, as well as its plans for the future.
The target frame rate is native 60 frames-per-second (fps), and the game will run at 1440p resolution on PS5 and Xbox Series X, with the Series S aiming for 1080p resolution.
Team Jade stated that they are exploring the possibility of introducing a “performance” mode with a higher frame rate as an update for later this year. The field-of-view slider will be included in the official launch version of the game, which should benefit those who prefer to adjust it, as is common in most shooters.
Alongside this announcement, the studio also confirmed that they are working on making inventory management for consoles, stating, “Yes, adjustments are already underway. We fully understand the challenges of the inventory management on controller. We are actively developing new convenient features, optimizing navigation and shortcut keys to improve operational fluency.”

There was a technical test held for the game last week, and if you took part in it, you might have noticed that a lot of bots were in games. This is another thing that’s being tweaked at the game’s console launch. Team Jade said they added bots in the technical test, but in the official launch version, “most of your opponents and teammates in matches will be real players, bringing you the excitement of intense confrontations.”
Lastly, the studio confirmed one feature that I’m sure will make console gamers happy: console-only matchmaking! While the game will feature crossplay, players can toggle it so they can choose to only have PS5 and Xbox Series gamers in the player pool. This should reduce the instances of cheaters among console gamers, among other benefits.
So far, there’s a lot of good news for the console versions of the game. Will console players embrace the free-to-play titleas they did on PC? I would imagine so, but we’ll know for sure when Delta Force on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S launches next month.
