There are a lot of missions for you to tackle inDead Island 2, many of which are side missions for you to discover at your own pace. Through these, you meet a variety of interesting characters that will both berate and help you. One of the earliest missions comes right after you leave Emma Jaunt’s house and hasyou meet Curtis Sinclair, a famous actor.

Once youaddress his calls for help, you can work on his quest, giving you another chance to enact some zombie mayhem.
Starting The Mission
You will find Curtis Sinclair’s home right by Emma’s after following the street for a little while. you’re able to eithertake Alpine Drive or Access Road 782to find an intercom through which Curtis is calling out to you. Simply walk up to the intercom and respond, and he will tell you that he is worried about a girl that he saw outside his mansion. He tried to talk to her, but she left and now is asking for you to help him find her.
Unfortunately, as soon as he opens his gates to let you in to investigate, you find out the fate of the girl very quickly, as youwitness her being killed by a zombieright in front of you. Kill the zombie that took her out and continue exploring the area. You won’t be able to get into any of the doors and there will be a sign on the side of his house pointing “Guests” to go around back. Go ahead and follow this sign to the back area.
As you enter the back area, you will see a large group of zombies eating something - or someone. As you approach them, the heater by them is shot, and they will go up in flames. This is Curtis, and you are now going tohelp him take out the stragglersthat his explosion didn’t get. Luckily, there shouldn’t be too many as his explosion was pretty accurate. Use whatever weapon you want to take them out, and be sure to use the flames that are still present toburn any to the ground. Just lure them into the flames and they’ll be cooked real quick.
With the zombies out of the way, it is time to speak to the man himself. Curtis is standing atop his balcony and you can approach him to receive a prompt to talk with him. The conversation will tell you that Curtis wants to be downstairs, but his chairlift doesn’t have any power right now, and with his bad hip, he can’t get downstairs.
It’s up to you to help him find a way to get power back and join the other survivors at Emma’s house.

Restore The Power
You don’t have to go far in order to bring power back to Curtis' home and chairlift, as you just have to follow the mission marker down another levelto find a shed. As you open the door, a zombie will attack you so make quick work of them and head inside.
You will see that the wire needed for power has been cut, and you have to find a way to connect the current to bring the power back. While you can’t just pick up the wires and connect them, the game does give you a solution right outside: a can of water. Head outside and pick up the can, then you can eitherthrow it at the wires or pour some out to form a puddlearound them. This will establish a current and bring the power back that Curtis needs.
It’s time to tell Curtis about your success, so head back up the stairs andgo around to the left of the house. You will have to take out some zombies, but once you do, you can head inside the front door and tell Curtis that it’s all working.

Wait For Curtis
Curtis will thank you for bringing the power back and prepare to use his chairlift to come down. You will need tohit the switchto your left to start the chairlift’s descent.
This process will alert and lure in some zombies, so it’s up to you toprotect Curtis and yourself from the hordes that attack you, which will include Curtis' nephew, who he does not have fond feelings for. Just keep moving and take them out, and you will have cleared them in no time.
Odds are, you will have wiped out the zombies before Curtis makes it down, so nowyou can just wait patientlyat the bottom of what used to be stairs for his chairlift to drop him off.
Now it’s time for another waiting game, asCurtis begins to walk into the next room. Unfortunately, with his age and that bad hip, he walks incredibly slow. So just be patient still, and he will reach his chair eventually. Once he has seated himself, you cantalk with Curtis to finish the mission. He isn’t coming with you Emma’s mansion at this time, but he will get there eventually.
