The latest event inClash Royaledoes not require you to build a deck for the third week in a row, but it’s not another unfair Draft event either. Instead, Supercell has decided to challenge your true skills in decision-making with a very unique version of a Mirror event.

Clash Royale: All Tower Troops, Ranked

Now that Clash Royale players have Cannoneer as a new Tower Troop, everyone’s wondering if it is worth changing their tactics.

Similar to previous Mirror events, both players start the game with the same deck, which makes everything equal, but there is also an added twist to the story: Every card in the deck costs only 3 Elixir, no matter if it is a Golem or an Ice Spirit!

Counter The Offensive Cards

It’s quite important to review the deck before playing any cards. Each deck does have at least one unit that takes the main role in damaging the crown towers, be it a tank unit likeRoyal Giant, or a spam unit like Skeleton Barrel. Your first job is to see if there are any troops in your deck to counter those offensive cards.

If you do have counters, thenlet the opponent begin the push, and invest your Elixir on countering the attack. Keep in mind that each card will have a Mirror, and using it will not require an extra Elixir. Your priority is to save your Mirror for your push, but if the opponent uses it, you have to use it as well to double down on your defensive line. Usually, the opponent will also spawn its defensive units to support the attack, which not only leaves them out-Elixired but also keeps their hand empty when you begin your push after countering their attack.

On the other hand, if you don’t have good counters to stop the opponent’s push, thenyou are the one who should begin the attack first. Making a dual-side push is a smarter idea in this situation if you have tank units with a large amount of hitpoints.

Use Mirror On Die-hard Cards

Mirror is an incredible option to make your attacks or defenses stronger, but it is usually best to use it on cards whose real value is over 3 Elixir. So, spawning a Royal Giant for 3 Elixir is great, and doubling it with Mirror will make it even more worthwhile. This is, of course, better than spending 6 Elixir on Spear Goblins, for example, unless you are on the defensive side, and you need that.

Using the Mirror on the wrong card could quickly get you out-Elixired, and that’s a state you don’t want to be in since it’s quite difficult to make a comeback with equal decks.

Don’t Let Your Elixir Overflow After The First Battle

Once the first battle is done, no matter whether you attacked first or your opponent, you should not allow your Elixir to overflow from this point on. Regarding the fact that all cards equally cost 3 Elixir, it would give you a sheer advantage in the battle to spend Elixir as soon as your production bar fills. Even if you don’t have a plan yet, just spawn a troop behind King’s Towerand make up your mind until it reaches the bridge.
