Yesterday, the Xbox Games Showcase presented all kinds of news about the brand’s upcoming games. One of the big stars of the night wasCall of Duty: Black Ops 6, which will arrive on Day 1 for Xbox Game Pass. It will be the first game in the franchise to do this.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be released on October 25.

A specific subscription will be required to access all the modes of this highly anticipated title on the service, as revealed recently. Treyarch will be making big changes to the core gameplay, and the story will also be much more developed than the previous title.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Will Be Accessible on Day One With All the Content on Microsoft’s Service

Since Microsoft acquired Activision Blizzard, the company has taken quite a while to achieve full assimilation. Players can finally enjoy the changes this year. One of the major improvements ofCall of Duty Black Ops 6, the franchise title arriving this year, is that it will be the first game in the series to be available on day 1 on Xbox Game Pass. However, it appears that this type of strategy will necessitate specific prerequisites.

“They’ll cut off escape routes”: Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Looks to be the Next-Gen Call of Duty Campaign Experience We’ve Been Wanting for Years with a Whole New AI System in Place

Activision clarified today that only platforms with the Ultimate subscription can play the full version of the game. On the other hand, other subscriptions will only be able to access certain modes and content of the game with a lower subscription.

These differences prove that a game as big as this will demand much more from the players, especially because it is always a success in sales without the need for one of these services.

Players Are Very Confused About This Launch on Xbox Game Pass

The well-known unofficialCall of Dutynews portal, CharlieIntel, revealed the different requirements to play the full version of this anticipated game. Ultimate allows all players to access the full game on all platforms.

Players are confused with this new system.

I’m assuming if you stop the Game Pass sub but buy the game later on, you’d still keep your Vault Edition items?

The complaints are starting to appear.

I’m on PS5, I prefer physical copies. I really dig the Vault edition but obviously I can’t upgrade if I get physical. However, I also have an Xbox, if I were to get Game Pass, and the do the Vault Upgrade. Would those items be usable in my PS5 version once I let GamePass expire?

The PC version of Game Pass will only be able to access the standard version of the game, which will include the campaign, zombies, and multiplayer modes. This makes sense because there is no need to pay online for the PC version.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will require certain things to play on Xbox Game Pass.

“Don’t f**k this up for them Activision”: Unlike XDefiant’s Ridiculous XP Progression, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Returns to its Franchise Roots and Announces ‘Bigger and more Rewarding’ Prestige System With a New Prestige Master that Sounds Intense

For players who only have a console Game Pass, they will only be able to access the campaign mode, not the multiplayer or zombie modes. To achieve this, they will have to upgrade their subscription to Ultimate or add Game Pass Core.

This newly revealed information is confusing many players on X, generating all kinds of questions for the studio about how they can access the full version of the game.

Many users finally responded to these posts about how to access the full game, saying they prefer to buy the physical version or the game separately to enjoy it, as they have been doing for years. In the case of Xbox, this strategy makes sense to take advantage of and not lose money with the release of this great IP, which has generated millions of dollars every year for Activision since 2008.
