However, when two of their beloved characters, Kit Harington’s Jon Snow and Emilia Clark’s Daenerys Targaryen, ended up getting together, fans saw a glimmer of hope.
That was until the rug was pulled from beneath their feet and it was revealed that they were, in fact, related. Finding out that Daenerys was Jon’s aunt was certainly on no one’sGame of Thronesbingo card.
While fans were disgusted at this aspect, there was another reason why Harington was disgusted to kiss Clarke, and it is quite funny.

Fans absolutely adored the scene for several reasons, getting to see two characters that had been through enough, finally find something good. However, in the video, the stars had quite an interesting reaction to kissing each other. As soon as the cameras captured the moment and the scene was done, Harington pulled away and began to gag.

While Clarke’s reaction to Harington’s disgust was quite funny, many might be upset with how Jon Snow’s actor reacted to the moment. However, his explanation behind it makes it make a lot more sense.

Emilia and I had been best friends over a seven-year period and by the time we had to kiss it seemed really odd.
Having been a part of the same series for a very long time, Clarke and Harington grew quite close to each other and became very close friends. Much like when Harry Potter stars, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint had to kiss in the final film, Harington revealed that kissing Clarke after being best friends with her for so long felt very weird to him.
