Oberyn Martell vs The Mountain in Game of Thrones

With a trial by combat, Oberyn Martell agrees to fight for Tyrion Lannister against the Mountain. The scene was supposed to feature the open sea of the location but there were several yachts. As per the bookFire Cannot Kill a Dragonby James Hibberd, the crew asked the yacht owners to shift their yachts. According to the narrative, one of the yachts belonged toBruce Willis.

The book claimed that Willis felt something called“yacht rage”wherein he got angry at having to move over his yacht. The actor’s yacht started circling in the sea as a means of interfering with the shot. Having enough of it, the crew simply decided to shoot the scene in a different way and remove the sea aspect of the fight. Instead of focusing on the sea views, the cast ofGame of Throneschose their shots carefully and more low-ground and personal.
