This mod has been in development for a long time, and its developers have named itDark Souls: Archthrones. This mod promises to add new locations, bosses, and much more. Now, for every fan awaiting the launch of this mod, a demo is available, and this demo is mind-blowing if fans are to be believed.

Yet, some developers decided that they loved this franchise enough to give it a new chapter.

Dark Souls 3launched back in 2016, and it was an instant hit. References to the original game, a bunch of new gameplay mechanics, numerous hard-to-fight bosses, and much more made this game an incredible experience.
But FromSoftware did one thing that no one expected them to: they ended the franchise with a twist. Its story finally came to an end, and the circle of darkness and light finally stopped. This effectively meant that either the developers were ending the franchise or taking a break from it, but there was no sure-shot confirmation about it either.
But the developers ofDark Souls: Archthroneswanted more of the series. That’s why, when FromSoftware started working onElden Ring, these fans started working on a massive new installment in theDark Soulsfranchise. If its longtime fans are to be believed, this new installment is just mind-blowing to look at.
Thisbrand-new trailergives fans a healthy look at this upcoming game. It shows a bunch of bosses, some interesting new NPCs, and a number of new locations. It looks so well made that one might end up mistaking it for the next installment in the franchise. What’s surprising is that some bosses and enemies have taken inspiration from a bunch ofElden Ringenemies.

This trailer ends with an announcement that a demo for this mod is now available to download. In this game’s FAQ, developers have even confirmed that gamers who download this mod will be able to play multiplayer on it with their friends, as it uses a private server for this purpose. It’s as if they have thought of everything.

After seeing the latest trailer forDark Souls: Archthrones, fans are not able to contain their excitement. They are praising the efforts of the developers right in the comment section of that trailer. Some are praising its content, while others are straightaway calling itDark Souls 4.
