Elden Ringis creating all kinds of buzz nowadays. Fans of this game are eagerly waiting for itsShadow of the ErdtreeDLC. Developer FromSoftware, too, is excitedly looking at its future. But a bunch of modders who are hardcore fans ofDark Souls 3cannot let that game go. And they decided to build a massive mod around the game that would bring a bunch of new content to it.

Dark Souls 6

This mod has been in development for a long time, and its developers have named itDark Souls: Archthrones. This mod promises to add new locations, bosses, and much more. Now, for every fan awaiting the launch of this mod, a demo is available, and this demo is mind-blowing if fans are to be believed.

Dark Souls: Archthronesgets a new trailer as well as a demo

One must always ask, “What makes a greatDark Soulstitle?” Is it a vague hidden story? Or maybe it’s the army of hard-to-defeat bosses. Whatever it is, one thing is for sure: it’s not easy to develop aDark Soulstitle. A bunch of developers who have tried have failed miserably. Yet, some developers decided that they loved this franchise enough to give it a new chapter.

Dark Souls 3: Archthrones is Everything You Could Want From a Soulslike – Drop Elden Ring and Don’t Bother With Shadow of the Erdtree

Dark Souls 3launched back in 2016, and it was an instant hit. While many thought this game had too much fan service, others did not care; they just wanted more of their favorite franchise.Dark Souls 3served that purpose pretty well. References to the original game, a bunch of new gameplay mechanics, numerous hard-to-fight bosses, and much more made this game an incredible experience.

But FromSoftware did one thing that no one expected them to: they ended the franchise with a twist. Its story finally came to an end, and the circle of darkness and light finally stopped. This effectively meant that either the developers were ending the franchise or taking a break from it, but there was no sure-shot confirmation about it either.

But the developers ofDark Souls: Archthroneswanted more of the series. That’s why, when FromSoftware started working onElden Ring, these fans started working on a massive new installment in theDark Soulsfranchise. If its longtime fans are to be believed, this new installment is just mind-blowing to look at.

Thisbrand-new trailergives fans a healthy look at this upcoming game. It shows a bunch of bosses, some interesting new NPCs, and a number of new locations. It looks so well made that one might end up mistaking it for the next installment in the franchise. What’s surprising is that some bosses and enemies have taken inspiration from a bunch ofElden Ringenemies.
