Here you can take a look at what the enhanced edition will bring to you:
BloodRaynewas originally launched back in 2002 for PS2, Game Cube, and the original Xbox, hitting PC almost a year later. The game was developed byTerminal Realityand represented a vampire protagonist called Rayne who was pursuing a Nazi group in 1993 that managed to start a pandemic in the world. At the time, the game received moderately positive reviews for its fast-paced hack and slash gameplay, which convinced developers to launch a sequel for it in 2004.
BloodRayne 2expands the story of the series and adds some personal purposes to Rayne’s fight against the hostile crews around the world. The game was treated the same way as its predecessor by reviewers, getting aMetacriticscore of 70 on PlayStation 2.
AfterBloodRayne 2, there was not any news about a new version of the franchise until 2011, when the series received a 2D side-scrolling spin-off:BloodRayne: Betrayal. While staying loyal to the original hack and slash gameplay of the franchise,Betrayalfeatured anime-style visuals. Since then, the series never received an update up until today that the enhanced editions of the first twoBloodRayneentries revealed.
It’s yet to be seen whether there would be a console release for the upcoming remasters, but there’s a bigger question: Does the new remasters mean there would be a new entry to theBloodRayneseries in the future? We should wait and see.
