New Voices For The Finale
This exciting news was part of a TikTok live stream in whichBleach’s creator, Tite Kubo, gave fans new insights on the series. For example, the finale has added voice actors to play the childhood versions of two important characters.
Casual anime fans should recognize the first: Marina Inoue, the voice of Armin Arlelt inAttack on Titan.

The second is Chiaki Kobayashi, who performed inMashle: Magic and Musclesas Mash Burnedead.
The Journey OfThousand-Year Blood War
The third season’s conclusion means theThousand-Year Blood Wararc is almost complete.
First announced in March 2020, the long-awaited adaptation was eventually confirmed to be four parts. Part 1 released in October of 2022, the second in July of 2023, and the third in October of 2024.

Season 4 currently has no release date. But during the livestream, Kubo—joined by the voice actors for Ichigo (Masakazu Morita), Uryu (Noriaki Sugiyama), Rukia (Fumiko Orikasa), and Renji (Kentaro Ito)—teased what’s to come.
There’s nothing I can talk about yet regarding the fourth cour [Part 4]. But the fact that I can’t say anything…well, you know what that means. Please look forward to it. With the fourth cour, when you watch the anime, you might feel like, “Wait, I’ve never seen this before,” or “This wasn’t in the original manga.” Like, “I don’t know this part of Bleach!” In the fourth cour, there will even be entire sections where people might say, I”ve never seen this before!”
What To Expect InBleach: Thousand-Year Blood WarPart 4
It’s common for anime adaptations of manga to add or even change events, especially when the original creator is involved. For example, inAttack on Titan, side characters like Jean, Sasha, and Connie received more screen-time and deeper characterization over the course of the show. For thefinale, Hajime Isayama understood criticisms people had about an important, climactic conversation between central characters, so he rewrote it to address those concerns.
Thousand-Year Blood Warhas introduced original characters to build out lore and added entire fights to heighten the drama. If new moments have already been part of the anime, it makes you wonder how extensive some of these additions may be. When Kubo says “entire sections”, does that mean an entire episode might be new material?
Kubo has a subscription platform where he talks to fans and shares special insights and content. It’s calledKlub Outside. In early December, he posted:
Today I attended a meeting for part 4! We seriously discussed each episode, one by one! For this meeting, I had prepared new storyboards, and the production team was very enthusiastic!!
The mention of new storyboards coincides with the livestream quote about “never seen before” material. The post also confirms that Part 4 will be a series and not a movie. Most important, it tells us pre-production is underway.
When Will Part 4 Release?
Parts 1 and 3 both debuted in October, while Part 2 arrived in July. If the pattern holds true, July 2025 is a strong possibility for Part 4.
We wish Kubo and Studio Pierrot smooth sailing on production.
