It is important to note that Warner Bros. has not yet confirmed if Big Chungus will be a playable character in MultiVersus or as a skin for Bugs Bunny. There’s also the possibility it could be for neither as the character could be used as an in-game emote - or maybe even for a completely different game. Considering Warner Bros. snapped up the intellectual property rights to Big Chungus, the company will want to capitalize on its popularity and commercial potential at some point.

Who is Big Chungus?

Big Chungus has already made an appearance in the mobile game Lonny Tunes: World of Mayhem. The character featured on a fake PS4 game cover with the name Big Chungus in 2017 after becoming well-known as a photoshop meme.

Big Chungusjoining MultiVersus would not be surprising given the base premise of the game is to bring numerous superheroes and cartoon characters together. The game’s developer also reaffirmed its desire to see other well-known characters in the game. Recently added to the roster were Black Adam from DC Comics, Stripe from Gremlins, and Rick from the animated comedy show Rick & Morty.
