Marvel Rivals, a hero-shooter title growing in popularity recently, can sometimes prove to be a real test of patience for the players. This is especially true when a few trollers get mixed in with the crowd and ruin the fun for others, starting with the one character everyone hates, Jeff the Land Shark.
Since the very introduction of the game, Jeff has been notoriously used by players to troll their enemies and even their own teammates often, something made possible by the character’s ultimate ability that allows you to swallow anybody in a certain radius for a few seconds and throw them out of the map on will.

While dealing with Jeff isalready hell for playerswho can’t come around with a counter-play, a few players who like to use the game’s official Discord channel have unfortunately found a new way to get trolled as they attempt to find a team to play with. Sharing their experience, one of them posted on Reddit, asking for a call to action.
The user went over how they found a team forming on a Discord channel, but they were ultimately trapped by the host, who would always lock in Jeff’s character anduse the ultimate on his own team.

They further addedthat after every game, the host would leave no single second and would queue up straight for another game, which is a pretty fast process inMarvel Rivals. This would leavethe user and other trapped players with no escape.
How to Escape the Ultimate Marvel Rivals Troll Trap
Till the developers behind the game take notice and fix the ongoing problem, a few users replying on the post shared a simple fix for players to leave the group without leaving thematch and getting penalized.
All you have to do in a situation like this is close off the game entirely and open it up once again. After doing so, Marvel Rivals will automatically remove you from your current group. The game will then offer you to reconnect to the match, saving you from any penalties that might have been given otherwise.
While some users offered a solution, others had something else to say.
Human innovation has always worked better when it was for the worse, and trolling and ruining other players’ experiences by finding new and unique ways is certainly no different example of the same.
