Terrariais a 2Dsurvival gamewhere progression heavily depends on the world generated. The last thing you want is a poor seed, resulting in a poor experience. In the worst case, you could be stuck searching for an item for hours only to figure out it didn’t spawn in your world.

All the non-numeric seeds are case-sensitive. Copy and paste them exactly as mentioned. Additionally, set the world generation settings the same unless not mentioned.

13Enchanted Swords

Seed: 1841878846 | Size: Small | Type: Classic | Evil: Corruption

For those unfamiliar with the Enchanted Sword, it’s apre-hard mode swordthat shoots a projectile on every swing. It’s a mighty early-game weapon that can make some of the pre-hard mode boss fights like the Eye of Cthulhu and King Slime easier. However, the main reason you need it is to craft the end-game sword, Zenith.

The Enchanted Sword cannot be crafted and is only found in The Underground biome or Shrines. Both of which are quite hard to find. So, if you are struggling to find the Enchanted Sword, try out this seed. The sword can be found by digging down from the spawn.

Terraria Plains Biome with Trees

Once you get the Enchanted Sword, attempt to get at least Platinum armor as soon as possible. This way, you’re able to challenge the King Slime or Eye of Cthulhu pretty early on.

12Early Life Crystals

Seed: 358475011 | Size: Small | Type: Classic | Evil: Corruption

Life Crystals are the most important item in the early game as they allow you to increase your health. Each Life Crystal unlocks a heart in your HP. The maximum HP you can get is 20 hearts. You start at five and need fifteen Life Crystals to get maximum health.

This seed allows you to get four to five hearts quite early on. All you need to do is travel to the Jungle and enter the first cave.

As you move down you will start finding more Heart Crystals. This seed gives you an early head start in terms of health, saving you the trouble of searching for Life Crystals later on.

You can make copies of this world and farm Life Crystals and sell them to NPCs for Gold.

11The Constant

Seed: constant, the constant

The constant is one of the most interesting seeds out there. It was a result of a collaboration betweenTerrariaand Don’t Starve. The seed enhances the survival aspect ofTerrariaby mixing it withDon’t Starve, a popular post-apocalyptic survival game.

You have a dim setting, and the default colors are changed to match those of a post-apocalyptic world. There is a hunger system, and even some sound effects are taken straight fromDon’t Starve.Fans of Don’t Starve will obviously enjoythe seed, but veteran Terrarians might like this new experience.

10Not The Bees

Seed: Not the bees

Not the bees is another one ofTerraria’sEaster egg seeds. It generates a world that is full of jungle and honey blocks. All the water on the surface is replaced with honey, and there are hives pretty much everywhere.

While it’s not a seed you will want to start yourTerrariaworld with and play long-term, it’s still worth checking out. On the other hand, you could use this seed as your honey storage, dropping in occasionally if you need honey or any other jungle resource.

9Good Loot

Seed: 950037805 | Size: Small | Type: Classic | Evil: Corruption

If you are looking for a well-balanced seed with good loot spawns for your nextTerrariaworld, then this seed might be worthwhile. There are chests scattered all over the map with good loot inside.

For instance, if you go to the Jungle Biome and enter the caves, you will find two chests filled with early-game weapons. In short, this seed is a good choice for a classicTerrariaplaythrough,

8An Early Walk In The Dungeon

Seed: 100865193

The Dungeon holds a lot ofgreat weapons, like the Water Bolt or Muramasa, for example. However, you can’t access the Dungeon till you have defeated Skeletron.

If you attempt to get in without defeating the boss, the Dungeon Guardian will make quick work of you.

This seed allows you to bypass the Skeletron Boss fight. The world generation of this seed caused a tree root to make an entry point in the Dungeon, allowing you early access. Beware, that if you go in too deep, the Dungeon Guardian will still attack.

Look for the Water Bolt. It can be found on the bookshelf. It’s quite easy to find and can be a very potent weapon against bosses like the Eater of Worlds and the Wall of Flesh.

7Celebration

Seed: Celebrationmk10

This is also one ofTerraria’ssecret seeds. It was introduced on the tenth anniversary of the game. The entire world is colorful and in party mode to commemorate this. You are spawned at a blue-colored beach amid a party hosted by the Party Girl NPC.

Along with her, you will also find the Steampunker NPC. She is one of thebest NPCs in the gameand spawns after Hardmode. But, not in this seed, as you will find her partying with the rest of the NPCs.

The entire world is painted in bright party colors. Overall, it is a fun and colorful seed to play on with a massive early NPC spawn advantage.

Build a room for all NPCs as soon as possible. If you don’t, they might not respawn if they die.

6A Great Beginner Seed

Seed: 2014307839 | Size: Small | Type: Classic | Evil: Crimson

Terrariais not an easy game to learn. There are different classes, tons of bosses, and a huge map to explore. In short, there’s a lot of information to absorb.

However, the last thing you want during this time is a bad seed. Not only does it ruin your experience, but it also makes the learning process difficult.

This seed is a solid choice for your firstTerrariarun. It has early chest spawns, equally distributed biomes, and no crazy structures.

With this seed, the randomness of world generation will not be a problem. Of course, death from slimes and zombies is still going to happen whether you like it or not.

5Don’t Dig Up

Seed: dont dig up

Don’t dig down is a term often used in Minecraft andTerraria. This is seed is a spin on that rule. Instead of not digging down, you don’t dig up.

The seed spawns you in the Underground Biome, which can be dangerous in the early game. However, you can’t escape because if you dig up to the surface, you will die.

It’s not an easy seed to start off with, and one I would not recommend for your first few plays. However, if you are a veteran and would like a challenge apart from Expert or Master mode, this might be it.

4For the Worthy

Seed: for the worthy

Speaking of difficulty, For the Worthy can make you rage quit. It’s also one ofTerraria’ssecret seeds, and the twist is that everything about the game is made super difficulty.

For instance, enemies do more damage and have more health. Breaking pots have a 25% chance of dropping a bomb on you, and every bunny is an exploding bunny, which, as the name suggests, explodes in your face.

Overall, if you are up for a challenge and don’t mind dying a lot, For the Worthy might be for you. You can also try this seed in Expert or Master Mode if you want to lose your mind.
