Baldur’s Gate 3: Should You Help Oskar Fevras?
Oskar Fevras is one of many characters you will meet in Baldur’s Gate 3. Here’s a guide to let you know if you should help him or not.
Yenna is a young child who owns a cat. She will ask if you have seen her mother, who left and has not returned to her. She is in desperate need of a place to stay while her mother is away. You can offer her some gold in order to help her out while she is waiting for her parents.

Updated by Erin Rice on June 12, 2025:This update includes information on how she can be kidnapped by Orin if you are not careful.
Who Is Yenna?
Yenna is a small red-headed child who needs your help in order to survive the harsh world of Baldur’s Gate. She is first seen in Rivington, the city right outside of Baldur’s Gate. She will be to your right as soon as you enter the city. At some point, after you first meet Yenna, she will appear at your camp asking for a place to stay.As mentioned, her mother never returned to her, and she is all alone in the world. The only living being she has to count on is her trusted cat, Grub. However, at this point in the game, you will meetOrin the Red. She is a shapeshifter who will take the form of random people throughout the game. You could be talking to someone completely normal one moment, and the next the person will transform into Orin. So, the question is, is it safe to let Yenna stay in your camp?
Baldur’s Gate 3: Should You Give Lady Esther The Egg?
After going through the effort of stealing a Githyanki egg in Baldur’s Gate 3, players will need to decide if they want to give it to Lady Esther.
Should You Let Yenna Stay?
Allowing Yenna to stay in your camp may seem like an easy choice, but considering Orin is on the prowl, it might not be a great idea. This can make this choice one of the more difficult choices. However, Yenna truly is just a young kid that needs a place to stay. If you let her in, you may save her life and give her a chance to create a life for herself.Unfortunately, if you don’t let her stay, she will more than likely die. Some players have reported that they experienced Yenna being kidnapped by Orin and sacrificed in her lair if they didn’t help Yenna out when she came to her camp. So, unless you’re playing an evil character, you should let her stay.
Are There Any Consequences?
If you let Yenna stay in your camp, there is a good chance that Orin will use her when you find out that she is disguised as a party member. If you return to camp, Orin could potentially pretend to be Yenna. She could also pretend to beLae’zeland try to kill Yenna. These are the only consequences. However, if you don’t let Yenna stay, it will be someone else. There aren’t any real consequences for letting her stay.
Usually, Orin will impersonate Halsin (and hurt Scratch) or Lae’zel (and attempt to kill Yenna). If Halsin and Lae’zel aren’t in camp due to being in your party or not being companions, Orin will be Yenna. If you want Yenna to be safe, you will need to invite her to your camp and ensure that either Halsin or Lae’zel is there during Act III until Orin kidnaps someone.

There is also a chance that Orin will kidnap Yenna in your camp if you allow her to stay. If she is kidnapped, many players have reported that her cat dies. Though you can work to save them both. However, Yenna herself can be rescued when you go to meet Orin for your final fight with her. If this does happen, Yenna will be perfectly fine once being saved by your character.
