Baldur’s Gate 3has received a new Hotfix, which has resolved some of the lingering issues thatremained after Patch 8. These include making it easier for a certain class to get an achievement that’s tailor-made for them.
Larian Studios is hard at workon its next games. Now that Baldur’s Gate 3 Patch 8 is out, there are going to be no more significant content updates made to the game. However, Larian has promised that hotfixes will be coming in the near future as needed, in order to solve any problems that players are still encountering.

The upcoming Menzoberranzan mod for Baldur’s Gate 3 is planning on recreating the iconic Irenicus Lab opening dungeon from Baldur’s Gate 3.
A new post on the Baldur’s Gate 3Steampage has confirmed that Hotfix #30 is now available and that it fixes issues with the Photo Mode and some bugs involving cross-play. One surprising fix involves theWay of the Drunken Master Monk, as it was unfairly difficult for it to unlock an achievement.
Baldur’s Gate 3’s Punch Drunk Achievement Is Fixed
ThePunch Drunk Achievementis earned by defeating twenty opponents while drunk. Fortunately, there is a ton of liquor lying around the Baldur’s Gate 3 world that can be used for this purpose, even though being drunk is a debuff.
The Way of the Drunken Master Monk is the opposite, as they fight better while inebriated. Unfortunately, due to an oversight, some of the kills made while drunk didn’t apply towards this achievement for the class. This has now been fixed, and the Drunken Masters of Faerun will have a much easier time unlocking Punch Drunk.
The fact that Baldur’s Gate 3 is still receiving fixes after all this time shows how dedicated Larian is to making its baby as best as it can be, even though the game is nearly two years old. It’s unclear how many more it will need, but the day may come when Baldur’s Gate 3 is bug-free, that is, unless someone isusing a million modson it.
