Absolute Domain
Faithbreaker isn’t a game breaking weapon by any stretch of the imagination, but it distinguishes itself from the wide range of Warhammers available to the player by it’s special ability: Absolute Power. When used, players roll an extra d6 for damage and even push enemies back 5-16 feet.
When wielded in two hands, Warhammers deal a base damage of d10, making them lethal in the right hands. Add the extra d6 of Fire damage to that, and you’ve got one of the best Warhammers in the game on your hands. you’re able to obtain Faithbreaker by lootingDror Ragzlin in the Shattered Sanctumin Act One.

14Vision Of The Absolute
Bane Of The Arachnids
Considering you can obtain the Vision Of The Absolute by simplycombining two broken pieces together, it’s an incredibly useful item. As a spear, it deals a d8 for damage, nothing particularly amazing. However, its main functionality comes from Absolute Night, the associated ability it grants to the player.
Absolute Night blinds enemies that fail a dexterity saving throw and deal an extra d6 of damage to multi-eyed enemies. While that might sound very useless, remember that spiders are a major enemy type in Act One and a weapon that deals extra damage to them is extremely useful, especially so early on in the game. You need to combine theShaft of a Broken Spear(Edowin in the Forest west of the Druid Grove) andHead Of a Broken Spear(Lootable fromthe Owlbear in the Owlbear Nest) to create Vision Of The Absolute.

Multiclassed characters and hybrid casters sometimes struggle with where to put their stat attributes due to the dependence on multiple stats. The Handmaiden’s Mace helps by boosting the wielder’s strength to a respectable 18. This not only improves their performance with the mace, but increases their weight capacity, shove distance and jump height.
As a weapon, the mace is quite strong with its extra poison damage. To get it,you mustdefeat Viconia DeVirat the house of grief. It has two drawbacks: poison is often resisted, and the strength enchantment will have no effect if the wielder is already stronger.

11Halberd Of Vigilance
Ever Vigilant
Halberd of Vigilance is a great weapon that benefits the player outside of combat as well as inside it. As a halberd, it has the largest reach of any melee weapon, letting players avoid the dreaded attacks of opportunities. Moreover, its high base stats make it a great choice for dealing as much damage as you can to the enemy. The d4 force damage you can deal makes it worth the two-handed slot.
The passives you gain when wielding the Halberd of Vigilance give you an advantage to Perception ability checks, and a +1 to Initiative rolls, making you more likely to start the battle off on the right foot. Furthermore, the weapon also makes it so that you roll for any reactions with an advantage. You can buy this weapon fromLann Tarv in Moonrise Towers (Act Two).

10Foebreaker
Resistance Ignoring Blows
Physical resistance is frustratingly common in Baldur’s Gate. Many enemies will ignore half the damage from weapons whether they’re magical or not. Resistance like this effectively doubles an enemy’s health if all you have are weapon strikes. Foebreaker smashes through that resistance.
Compared to a regular maul, Foebreaker has little to set it apart, but a little goes a long way. In addition to its plus-two enchantment, it has the Lethal Weapon ability, letting it ignore bludgeoning resistance. You will deal your full damagealways, and it works very well with theGreat Weapon Master feat.It can be found inside theKarsus vault under Ramazinth’s tower.

9Drakethroat Glaive
Damage Of Your Choice
The Drakethroat Glaive is a weapon made with Dragonborn characters in mind, but anyone can still make good use of it. Weapons with elemental damage attached are somewhat uncommon, and with one exception, you’re stuck with whatever element type the weapon gives you. This glaive is that one exception. you may buy it fromRoah Moonglow at Moonrise Towers.
The glaive’s Draconic Elemental Weapon lets you pick between Fire, Ice, Acid, Lightning, or Thunder, and add that damage type to the glaive. While that ability is active, you also gain an additional one-point boost to your attacks. It’s effectively a plus-three enchantment. Some elemental items require you to deal specific damage to gain effects, and with this glaive you can meet those requirements whatever they be.

8The Blood Of Lathander
As the earliest legendary Weapon available in Baldur’s Gate 3, the Blood of Lathander does not disappoint. Though it requires the player togo on a long-winded quest, it’s well worth the effort. It’s the first plus three weapon you’re able to find, and that boost to your accuracy goes a long way as you enter act two. With the second act filled to the brim with undead enemies, the mace’s ability to blind all undead within six meters is invaluable.

Force Conduit Resilence
Martial warriors focusing on melee weapons need to dive straight into enemy lines where the fighting is thickest. While this exposes them to more danger, it’s the environment where the Skinburster shines. What at first seems an unremarkable halberd turns its wielder into a nigh-unkillable monster. You canfind it in Creche Y’llek.
It does this through granting two stacks of Force Conduit every attack. Force Conduit reduces incoming physical damage by one for every stack remaining up to a maximum of seven. This reduction is also applied after resistance cuts incoming damage. Once you have five stacks or more, every hit taken causes you to explode with 1d4 force damage, damaging all around you.

6Knife Of The Undermountain King
Reroll For Better Results
One of the biggest things holding back weapons in Baldur’s Gate 3 is the rolling mechanic. If you’re unlucky, you might even roll a 1 and get a critical failure, wasting your turn. However, when you roll a damage of 2 or lower with Knife Of The Undermountain King, you’ll have a chance to roll again, with the higher roll counting towards the final damage. This essentially gives you advantange on a damage roll.
Furthermore, 19 roll of the dice will count as a critical hit, doubling your chances to deal extra damage to your enemies. The greatest strength of this weapon is that you can get it as early as Act One, bybuying itfrom the Githyanki Trader,A’jak’nir Jeera in Crèche Y’llek.
