I’m amazed to see how many possibilities we have inBalatroto make a successful run. You can get vouchers, seals, enhancements, and more to curate a robust build.
That’s why every game feels fresh, because no one game will play out like another. You know, unless you use a seed or something.

Among so many unique features, we have Vouchers that can give additional bonuses to your cards, jokers, and shop.
You can use these vouchers throughout the game and enjoy powerful bonuses. With that said, let’s go over our 10 BestBalatroVouchers.

10Crystal Ball
Something Extra
Crystal Ball (Base)
+1 Consumable Slot
Omen Globe (Upgraded)
Spectral cards may appear in any of the Arcana packs
Having an extra consumable slot is pretty good, since you can stashan extra Tarotor Planet card. However, what’s more interesting is thepossibility of having Spectral cards in Arcana packs.

Spectral cards are one of the most powerful cards in the entire game, and having them at your disposal is invaluable. Each has a unique use case; you can craft a winning hand depending onyour deck and strategy.
However, not every Spectral card is a game-changer. So many of them are useless after mid-game, and getting a good one is entirely up to RNG.

9Telescope
To The Moon
Telescope (Base)
Celestial Packs always contain the Planet card for your most-played poker hand.
Observatory (Upgraded)
Planet cards in your consumables area give X1.5 Mult for their specific poker hand.
It can be fantastic to hit both Crystal Ball and Telescope vouchers in a run. You get anextra consumable slot, and if you hit the Observatory by any chance, you’ll get achunky Multiplier with Planet cards.

If powerful cards and hands carry your run, this Voucher will shoot the numbers to the moon. Both vouchers have an amazing synergy with each other.
If you come across thePerkeo Legendary Jokerby any chance, you’re almost guaranteed to win the run unless you run into afinicky Boss Blind. However, RNG plays a crucial role in the said strategy, and you have to be a bit lucky to get it.
8Director’s Cut
A Second Chance, Maybe?
Director’s Cut
Reroll Boss Blind 1 time per Ante, $10 per roll
Reroll Boss Blind unlimited times, $10 per roll
So you’re having an excellent run, and like many players, you didn’tcheck the Run Info beforehand, and when you reached the round screen, you saw that the next Boss Blind might mean it’s over for you. But you know what? This Voucher can save you.
If you’re lucky enough to get the Director’s Cut,theBoss Blind can be changed.Maybe you’ll get an easier Boss Blind, or it’ll go south, but having a shot at changing the Boss Blind is worth it if you know that you may potentially lose the round.
However, again, it’s RNG, so there’s still a possibility that your chances of winning become absolute zero. But if you’re good with money and redeem Retcon, you may play around a bit; all you can hope is that you won’t lose before you hit the Retcon voucher.
7Overstock
More Options To Choose From
Overstock (Base)
+1 card slot available in the shop (up to 3 slots)
Overstock (Upgraded)
+1 card slot available in the shop (up to 4 slots)
Having good Jokersis the name of the game. Whether in the first few Antes or the last one,Jokers will help you get good numbers.
Formulating yourdeck around the Jokersor a solid strategy is the key to winning inBalatro, and with more slots in the shop, you’ll have abetter chance to grab a good Tarot, Planet, or Joker card.
In a way, you’re alsosaving money since you may not need to reroll much, and even if you do, the rerolls are much more efficient. That’s why this Voucher is so good. Save your money!
6Reroll Surplus
A Chance To Hit The Jackpot
Reroll Surplus (Base)
Reroll costs $2 less
Reroll Glut (Upgraded)
Reroll’s cost is reduced by an additional $2
In the same vein as Overstock, Reroll Surplus is another banger relief for the shop. I know you can have a Joker to make rerolls cost-effective, but having them cheaper by default is phenomenal.
Think about it. As you progress, you’ll collect cards, Jokers, Tarot cards, and Planet cards. But if thererolls are cheap, you’ll save money, potentially enabling you to make a few more purchases to strengthen the deck.
It’s a win-win, and I highly recommend going forVouchers, which help you optimize in-game economy.
5Clearance Sale
Cheap And Best
Clearance Sale (Base)
All cards and packs in the shop are 25% off
Liquidation (Upgraded)
All cards and packs in the shop are 50% off
Reroll Surplus, Overstock, and Clearance Sale are Vouchers that help you save money. And saving more money means you’ll have a better shot at getting good Jokers, Tarot cards, and Planet cards.
With less cost, you don’t have to spend everything you have to upgrade your deck. From what I’ve experienced, I’ve been able to purchase everything in the shop after redeeming the Clearance salevoucher in most runs.
The Voucher is powerful enough to get you most things in the shop and leaves you with surplus money for rerolls. So, I recommend having a few vouchers that will help you save a few bucks.
Every Balatro Deck Ranked By Difficulty
In this roguelike, you have 15 different options to lose contact with the real world.
Maybe You’ll Get Lucky
Blank (Base)
Does nothing
Antimatter (Upgraded)
Additional Joker slot
I thought there might be a catch with the Blank voucher, but it turns out there was none. The Blank Voucherdoes nothing at all. However, if it unlocks, you willget a chance to purchase Antimatter.
But why do you need an additional Joker? To secure a better chance of a successful run. Sometimes, you may run into a Boss Blind with a high target, and if you havean extra Joker, which has a multiplicative effect, you may achieve bigger numbers.
That’s whyeffects like Negative are so valuable. You get to stash an extra Joker alongside others.
3Paint Brush
Hand Size Is Vital
Paint Brush (Base)
+1 Hand size
Palette (Upgraded)
+1 Hand size again
I know how important Jokers are and how most Vouchers' redemption increases your possibility of getting a better Joker, but what about your hand?
With alarger hand, you have more chance of finding better cards, and if you’re running a strategy that relies on having, say, Steel cards in your deck, an extra hand size will benefit it. That’s why I recommend having a bigger hand size, since it’s better for beginners and veterans.
A unique case would be to hit a Negative on a Joker, which nullifies your Voucher, effectively bringing the hand size back to the original. However, you don’t lose what you started with.
Decisive Blow
Grabber (Base)
Permanently gain +1 hand per round
Nacho Tong (Upgraded)
Again, get +1 hand per round
I’ve had runs where I was just short of one hand to win. Things can go wrong, you can end up with bad cards, you can run out of discard, and that’s why having an extra hand per round is so good.
You get to score more numbers, and sometimes that’s all you need to get the last squeeze and win the Ante. Since you can’t guarantee anything inBalatro, depending on a holistic all-rounder approach is a better decision.
You can’t go wrong with extra hands. You’ll geta few bucks, have a better chance at scoring, and can even use it as a Discard. It’s really good!
1Hieroglyph
Build More
Hieroglyph
-1 Ante, -1 hand each round
Petroglyph
-1 Ante, -1 discard each round
The best Voucher, in my opinion. As you build the deck, progress through the rounds, and grab good Jokers, you can always use a few more turns to build an even better deck.
I know you’re losing a hand or discard, but once you’ve solidified a good strategy and have nice Jokers, you can further strengthen the playing cards with this Voucher.
If you see this Voucher pop up anytime on your screen, take it and strengthen your deck further.
It only sounds scary on paper, but the effect is immense. If you godown one Ante, the target score is lower, and you’re able to save moneyand buy something extra for your build.
