Bad Bunny has become a cultural phenomenon. Being one of the most well-known artists in recent years, he has gained recognition all over the world for the music he creates. While many lose their footing when they reach such heights, he has managed to stay grounded to his roots.

Staying true to where one came from can mean different things to different people, but for Bunny, his home is where his heart lies. Despite rising through the ranks of the music industry and making a name for himself, he is just as passionate about his home country of Puerto Rico as he was when he started out.
Recently, Bad Bunny gave an interview on theEl Tony Preguntapodcast, where he ended up mentioning his passion for Puerto Rico on several occasions.

Bad Bunny Understands His Responsibility to Puerto Rico
During the interview, Bad Bunny started by talking about his goals and dreams when it comes to his career. Although many chose to dream big, he mentioned that he has one goal when it comes to his profession; knowing where he came from.
I do not have any agenda of wanting to be the most. I really care about Puerto Rico. Go out and give everything for myself, but also to always represent. Knowing that there are people all over the world—in Japan, in Germany—who know Puerto Rico for my music, for that of other artists, for salsa, for our culture, for our people.

He mentioned that although he understands that he is performing for himself when he is up on a stage, Bunny also understands the responsibility that he holds for his country as a whole.

He then pushed his fans to take part in the government elections more, asking them to vote so that they could have the power in their hands instead of letting others decide for them.
