Ark: Survival Ascended, the recently released remake ofArk: Survival Evolved, has once again delayed the game’s server transfers. This will mark the third time that developerStudio Wildcardhas delayed the transfer, after originally stating that the feature would be enabled in January.

Over on the official Ark: Survival Ascended Discord, Studio Wildcard said, “Unfortunately, server transfers will need to be delayed until Wednesday, February 7th. We understand this is frustrating news, but due to the complexity of integrating player-created custom cosmetics, networked structures, and the new modding framework into the upcoming update, server transfers will require an extension until next week.”

Ark Fans Call Studio Wildcard “Embarrassing” For Delays

While the game’s developers are clearly working to address the complicated issues and enable server transfers across all platforms, fans think the studio is “embarrassing” themselves for constantly delaying the transfers. In response to the delay, one userresponded by saying, “Maybe don’t give dates out and change them 5 times… some things [never] change.”

Another userechoed the same sentiment, saying, “Why do y’all announce anything if you aren’t ready for it. Like it’s embarrassing for y’all at this point.”

While many are frustrated at the constant delays, others believe that Studio Wildcard should be focusing on quality-of-life updates and bug fixes, due to the game’s poor optimization.

When Ark: Survival Ascended was first released on Steam back in October, it got off to a pretty rocky start. After receiving a “mixed” review badge on the platform, players called the game’s optimization “trash”, with some even stating that they were only getting 50FPS on low settings with an RTX 3080.
