Even though Amazon MGM Studios secured the rights from Games Workshop to produce content around theWarhammer 40kIP in December 2022, there wasn’t any news on the topic because both companies hadn’t ironed out the creative differences.

However, Henry Cavill has finally come out and shared that the highly-anticipatedWarhammer 40kseries is going forward. While it’s still not clear what Cavill and his team are planning for the franchise’s debut on big screens, they must consider a fight against Dark Eldar that makes Tryanids and Death Guards look weak.
Henry Cavill’sWarhammer 40kshow can’t miss out on Dark Eldar
One of the most terrifying factions we’ve ever come across in the vast universe ofWarhammer 40kis undoubtedly the Dark Eldar or Drukhari.
The Dark Eldar initially came as a splinter of the ancient Eldar civilization and embodied all of the corruption that led to the birth of Slaanesh, the Chaos God of Pleasure.

“These franchises don’t belong to us”: Only Reason Henry Cavill’s Warhammer 40K Universe Can’t Have an Official Crossover With Upcoming Amazon Show
The Dark Eldar can be located in the city of Commorragh. This is a hidden realm within the Webway and a place where the Dark Elders craft their plans of betrayal and absolute domination, ensuring survival by taking the suffering of their victims.
What makes this foe terrifying is the fact that it doesn’t just kill; it aims for absolute torture and harvesting every ounce of pain from its enemy. They wear huge armor that is filled with blades and motifs that would make anyone run for their life.

If Henry Cavill’sWarhammer 40kshow is really looking to appealto the fans of the franchise, it must include the Dark Eldar.
We could see the Imperium world under siege by this faction, which would showcase the terror and absolute brutality fending off against the Dark Elder. The possibilities are unlimited, and Cavill must consider adding this faction for a fight.

Warhammer 40kshow was on the verge of being canceled
As we’ve said before, theWarhammer 40kproject was initially announced in late 2022. Cavill was brought onto the project since he’s a massive fan of the franchise. However, the project didn’t see much action, and gamers couldn’t help but wonder why.
It’d be a Bloody War Crime If Henry Cavill’s Warhammer 40K Series Doesn’t Include a Mysterious, Near-Extinct Loyalist Chapter That Can See the Future
According toIGN, Games Workshop and Amazon didn’t start working on the project immediately because they were waiting to settle their creative differences. Games Workshop stated that if nothing had come to fruition by December 2024, the show would’ve been canceled.
Considering the fact thatWarhammer 40kis a world that’s packed with events and massive lore, it’s understandable why neither company couldn’t settle on ideas for such a long time.

If Amazon hadn’t been able to give us this show, Games Workshop and Cavill could’ve always approached Netflix to get things rolling, as Cavill already has a history with the streamingplatform.
Now that Cavill has confirmed the show is coming, you might ask when exactly. Well, it’s going to be a long while, considering the studios have just started working on the project. Let’s hope we get to hear more about it in the upcoming months.
