Tomorrow is a big game forAlan Wake 2fans, as not only are we getting The Lake House DLC for the horror game, but Remedy is also rolling out a new game update for Alan Wake 2 as part of the game’s first anniversary.

For those not willing to shell out the extra cash for the DLC, you’ll still be getting something when the game update is released, asRemedywill patch in community-requested features, and even a new Gameplay Assist menu that should make the game a bit easier to play.

As for the Gameplay Assist menu, players will find it in the gameplay options, and will contain the following toggles:

Remedy hasn’t mentioned whether the Anniversary Update will include any gameplay bug fixes, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see it as part of the patch notes.

Hopefully, there won’t be any new bugs that surface from this new patch. Having said that, Remedy has been quick with rolling out fixes, so it shouldn’t be an issue regardless.
