Alan Wake 2will have you facing off against many terrifying enemies scattered throughout various locations. You will also have plenty of collectibles to tick off your list and many weapons to keep the combat feeling fresh. Combat and collecting are just two elements of this game that youshould prepare for, but another massive facet is exploration.Remedy Entertainmenthas done an amazing job cultivating an ominous atmosphere to really give the game a true horror feel that hasearned the game a lot of praise.
The game features a vast world for both Saga and Alan to explore as youswitch between them. While there are roads one can follow through the woods, there is no compass to indicate your direction. This makes it very easy to get lost or turned around — so be sure to pick up every map you find along the way.

Alan and Saga’s gameplayshares a lot of the same core values, but the biggest difference is the worlds in which their stories take place. Saga will be moving around creepy woods, small towns, and even a creepyCoffee-themed amusement park.
Map’s Location
Cauldron Lake
When you first start the game, Saga will be getting out ofher carin a cutscene.Stand with your back to Saga’s car, and you will see a sheriff’s station police car on your left,but also a map set up on your right.
Bright Falls
When you first enter Bright Falls, you will bestaring down a long road. Walk down this road, and you will see ayellow fire hydranton the left side. Go past this fire hydrant to thetelephone boothat the end of the alleyway. To theright of this telephone boothwill be the map of the area. This is not the only location of this map, you can findanother instanceof it inside the Elderwood Palace Lodge.
Sheriff Station
You will need toprogress through the storyuntil you have been brought to the Sheriff’s Station. Once you have access to this building, head into it through thefront doors. Directly ahead of you will be thefront desk. Head through the gap and to theleft to see the mapbetween two windows.
Once you start the mission “Local Girl,” look to your right to see a building with somesigns above it— the bottom sign will read “CAFE.” As you enter this room,look to your leftto see the map.
Valhalla Nursing Home
Look at the Bright Falls map and you will seeManor. From the east side of Manor, head through thefront doorand take the first door frame to yourright. The map will be to the left of the other door to this room.
Wellness Center
As the doors to the wellness center open for you,turn and look slightly to your left. You will find a notification board with the map on it.

All Maps For Alan Wake
Alan will have much moresurreal surroundingscompared to Saga due to him being trapped in the Dark Place. This is a world that shares a lot of similarities to our own but isvery distorted and much more ominous.
The Dark Place
you’re able to find this map shortly after leaving the Talk Show location. You will head up some stairs as you leave. At the top of these stairs, look to your right and you will seetwo phone booths. To the left of these phone booths are some mailboxes, followed by the map. If you do not see it, you will still be able tonotice a ringing sound— this is the phone booth with the glowing top.You can use thisas an audio marker to close in on the location.
Talk Show Studio
Progress through the story until you get thedownstairs key to the Talkshow Studio. Once you are downstairs, you find a room with lots oftables spread outinside it. You will see a large door frame with a glowing redexit sign. Head through this door frame, and you will find the map on theright wall.
Playing as Alan Wakecan be very disorientatingand a lot of the Dark Place does not make sense. Luckily, there is a clear marker for this map’s location. Once you arrive in the subway, you will need to navigate throughseveral tunnels and doors.Eventually, you will find a break room where you canquicksave. As you leave the break room,turn right and follow the wall.Next to the break room door will be the map.
Oceanview Hotel
You will arrive in the“Entrance Hall” during the mission “Room 665.” Once you see this appear on your screen, head forward and you will see thefront desk. Take the door you see on yourleft sideto get behind the front desk — the map is to theleft of the computer.
Poet’s Cinema
As you enter thePoet’s Cinema, head forward. This will lead you to therefreshments stand— you will see the word “Lobby” appear on your screen as you do. Head to the left and go around the corner to see an entryway toget behind the Refreshments Stand counter.There will be a door on theleft sideof this entrance. Head through this door and thenturn aroundto see the map on theleft side of the door.
