A gaming website recently uncovered some interesting statistics about the rise in Xbox players for the FromSoftware game. Coincidentally, there’s been a petition forHelldivers 2going around recently among the Xbox community.

The recent announcement of theShadow of the ErdtreeDLC release date has caused a noticeable surge in Xbox player activity.
One of the most popular open-world RPGs of late, FromSoftware’s latest release has climbed 20 spots inTrueAchievements’ gameplay chart. The player count has reportedly seen a remarkable 78% increase since the previous week’s chart.

The returning influx of players seems to be a direct response to the anticipation surrounding the upcoming DLC. Plus, the FromSoftware game happens to be one of the best games available on Xbox Series X and S, even outside its genre. However, there’s another factor that could be majorly influencing this rating.
Players Find Solace in Elden Ring Amid Helldivers 2 Anticipation
We’ve all heard ofHelldivers 2, one of the most popular gaming sensations available on PS5 and PC. Known for its immersive and seat-gripping action as well as its top-notch co-op features, the game has been a hit among players on these platforms.
It has managed to break age-old records with over 400k concurrent players on Steam while topping the PS Store charts. However, it’s notably absent on Microsoft’s consoles, prompting comments from Xbox head Phil Spencer.
