Introduced in the comics as New Earth Superman, this very counterpart of Earth-22 Superman starts having a conversation with the aged Kal-El. That’s when the Earth-22 Superman is interrupted as he hears distant rumbling and screaming from the city of Gotham. Arriving in Gotham the two Supermen find Hercules fighting a losing battle with Gog.

Interrupted in his battle by the arrival of the Supermen, Hercules eventually vents his frustration on the New Earth Superman. Attacking him with a strike strong enough to bloody Superman’s nose, the Greek God ends up shifting his focus from Gog to the Supermen. Meanwhile, Earth-22 Superman stands back and tries to fathom the New Earth Superman vs Hercules battle.

Superman’s One Punch was Enough to Defeat the Greek God

As the losing war between Hercules and Gog shifts towards the Greek God vs Superman, things take a bitter turn. Suddenly Earth-22 Superman faces a blow from Hercules and withstands it, which previously knocked the New Earth Superman away.

Witnessing this, an undaunted Hercules charges toward Earth-22 Superman, who then grabs the Greek God’s fist with one hand, removes his golden tunic, and sends him flying with a punch. Addressing that Hercules isn’t worthy of compassion, especially after his recent attacks on the Amazons, Earth-22 Superman, and New Earth Superman team up against the Greek hero.

Thereafter, the New Earth Superman catches Hercules and smashes him into a large statue at high speed, completely stunning the Greek God. Following that attack, Hercules was unable to get back up which gave the two Supermen enough time to go after Gog. Well, following this particular segment from the comics, it’s pretty clearwho is the ultimate superherobetween Superman and Hercules.
