Todd Howard is the man responsible for delivering many amazing titles to the gaming industry, and his value and contribution cannot be evaluated in any kind of quantitative measures. The renowned video game designer and director over the years has given fansFallout 3,as well as theElder Scrollsseries.Despite being 53 years old, the director is still very much involved in the production of games, with his recent contribution being in Bethesda’s largest game ever,Starfield. The director also talked about his plans to retire in an interview, revealing who he looks up to as inspiration for working more.

Todd Howard Reveals How He Feels About Finally Retiring
The director mentioned in an interview viaGQhow he feels ‘weird‘ when he thinks about retiring after serving such a long term. He also revealed in the interview from whom he takes inspiration to keep working and going even after already dedicating nearly three decades of his life to games-
“I want to do it forever, I think the way I work will probably evolve, but… look at Miyamoto. He’s still doing it.”

The director referred to none other than Shigeru Miyamoto, the 71-year-old legend behind Nintendo’s most popular franchise, Super Mario.Todd Howardis also currently working on the development of the next installment for the Elder Scroll series, which is still far from release but is something every fan looks forward to.
Apart from Elder Scrolls 6, Howard seems to also be involved in the development of thecoming Shattered Space DLC forStarfield, which fans speculate just might be enough to put the game back on the map.

What Do We Know About The Upcoming Starfield Shattered Space DLC
With no official announcement yet, the release date for the coming expansion of the game remains unknown and is rumored to be before the end of 2024. Unfortunately, players on PS5 will be missing out on this experience as it has been confirmed thatStarfield is not one of the 4 gamesthat will be making their way on other major platforms, apart from Xbox.
The DLC will be made available for free to those players who have purchased the Premium or the Constellation editions of the game. Unfortunately, those who bought the base game will be potentially paying extra out of their pockets if they wish to experience the DLC. The developers have also revealed how the coming expansion will bring with itself new story content, new locations, new gear, and much more.
